Souvenirs] Untasted brands from Fukushima, a gold medal winning kingdom full of legends, at the Roadside Station "Fukushima" in Osasao, Fukushima City during the Tohoku tour in September. It is indeed a local sake kingdom. Posters of Japan's top gold medal-winning sake and a lot of undrinkable brands. I bought a packet and went for this one. This one is made with Fukunoka, developed by Fukushima Prefecture. It was made for highly refined sake. Mild ginjo aroma. Soft sweetness and rice flavor. Delicious. Easy to drink.

Since I drank up the Shinkai Sanjo so quickly, I had another bottle of Shiga sake. This is a light nigori (nigori is a little bit thicker than the original) sake from Omi Tohei Sake Brewery in Higashiomi City. This sake is made by Masumoto Sake Brewery in Higashiomi City. You may not find this sake outside of Shiga. By the way, although not in Higashiomi, I stopped by my favorite museum, Lake Biwa Museum, so I'll introduce some of my lake friends with a few photos 💕. At the center is the red cheeked bite with a trademark. It is served cold. The color is a gentle light nigori. The top aroma is of blue melon and white peach with a gentle fragrance. The overall finish is dry with a strong alcohol attack, The sweet and sour aroma of blue melon and white peach mingles with the richness of milky rice, and the taste sublimates into a rich sweet and sour umami like dried fruit in the mouth. When heated, the sharp alcohol taste settles down, and the balance between the mild and mellow rice flavor and the enhanced bitterness and the thickened mouthfeel is indescribable. This feeling is 👍 in the middle. I imagine it is like a softer version of sakuten. I must drink Furozumi too!

A little classical, but delicious. Junmai Ginjo Genshu Gohyakumangoku Another limited edition from the brewery. Gohyaku-mangoku grapes grown in Hyogo Prefecture. It has a slightly yellow hue. It has a slightly yellowish color with a strong acidity for an Ihyakumangoku sake. It has a clear acidity followed by an astringent taste. Junmai Daiginjo-genshu The nose has a light, fresh, and elegant aroma. The aroma is clear, elegant and refreshing, and the water is delicious. I bought it at Tsunoka Shoten, which I had wanted to visit for a long time. The nearest stations are Keihan Sumizome Station, Keihan Fujimori Station, or JR Fujimori Station. The brands available include Miyakotsuru, Tamagawa, Yaetsuru, Shirakikyu, Kumi no Ura, Jinzo, Yosamusume, Haginoroh, Roppo (from Kirakucho's brewery), Wakabisu, Joyo, Honohana (from Wakamiya Shuzo), and sake from the Meimon Sake Association. In addition, there were a few PB-like products that were only available at sake dealers' associations and unions. They were sake made by Eikun and Tsuki no Katsura. There were two kinds of sake, both fruity, so I chose 1801. It was not very fragrant for an aromatic yeast, but it was voluptuous and sweet. It was a bit similar to the Yatagarasu I drank before. I wonder if it tastes like this when you make a sweet sake with Koshihikari. It tastes a little cloying and messy...
