This is a summer-only sake that is a counterpart to the previous Sho Shiki RED. This one has a very easy drinking mouthfeel, similar to the white and black versions of the regular Sho Shiki.
All of Laughing Seasons' sensations are delicious, but this RED is the best summer sake. It really tastes tropical. It is seasonal, but I highly recommend drinking it.
It has a strong smell of sake yeast, but the mouthfeel is surprisingly refreshing. And it is a 2 year old sake, as one would expect from the Kitajima Shuzo brewery.
Aged for 3-5 years, this is an interesting sake that has the unique flavor of a traditional sake with a freshness to it. The label on the back says to drink it with 2021, so I had to look for this one.
The same sticker as the one on the earlier Mishiroei, Omi's local dry sake select. A little more fruity than Miyoroe. A little more fruity than Miyoroe.
Taga is really my favorite brewery. It is refreshing for summer, yet has a great umami flavor. It's also good for a lunchtime drink with some pickled vegetables ✨.
Although it is described as a dark nigori sake, it is very easy to drink, and if you close your eyes when drinking it, you may not even think it is nigori.
Aged for 10 years. The aroma of maturity is well controlled, but it is not too twisted and is very easy to drink. The label on the back says it is an introduction to aged sake, and it is.
It's been a little while since I've been to Chung An Liquor Store. I have not been here for a while, and there are a few things I have never had before. I started with this Junmai Ginjo Nama Sake, which does not seem to have much freshness.
