Get it at "Marugoto Kochi" in Ginza, Tokyo❗️. I had never heard of this brand before, but it was delicious ❣️. The rice used was something from Kochi Prefecture. It has a fresh citrusy taste like a fresh sake, with a rich mouthfeel, but it goes down smoothly. The aftertaste is clean and crisp. If I had to say something, I would say that I would like a little more sweetness, but it is just right for light drinking.

Second day of Kochi Night. The cab driver told me that Hirome is good, but for bonito, I should go to Matsuri Jaya. He advised me to go to Matsuri Jaya for bonito, as it has a good selection of alcohol. So we went to Matsuri Jaya. At first, we started out with regular sake, just like a normal drinking party in Kochi. The staff at the restaurant recommended various temperatures for drinking. The first sake is Fujimusume, which I have never tried before. Slightly spicy and umami-guchi (flavorful), it was a perfect match for the thickly sliced salt cod roe. The special sake cup is also cute! But from here, I sank into the swamp of Kochi sake.

Yahiko Sake Brewery in Yahiko Village, Niigata Prefecture. The main brand was "Echino Hakusetsu," but it appears that "Yahiko" will be the main brand from now on. This Junmai Ginjo is also made from Yamadanishiki produced in Yahiko Village, and is a good sake, not fruity, but calm and soft. Yahiko Village is where my mother is from, and I spent a lot of time there as a child when I was sent to my mother's home, so it is like a second home to me. Yahiko Shrine, the first shrine in Echigo, is located there.

Yahiko's regular sake, Aozae, by Yahiko Shuzo Sake rice is Koshibuki produced in Yahiko village. Aozae has a refreshing, watery quality. Aozae is a perfect evening sake without any peculiarities. Yahiko Shrine is the largest shrine in Echigo Province. My mother is from Yahiko Village and I used to stay at her parents' house in Yahiko Village when I was a child, so Yahiko is like my second home.

I bought it at a sake shop in Kintetsu Department Store. I can't read "mother-of-pearl" 🤣I heard it is read as "Uzume", but if you type "den" for mother-of-pearl in your phone, it will come up 😁. If I lived a normal life, I would never use this kanji 😅. I got the impression it's a pineapple with a bit of bitterness 🍍. It was sweeter when I tasted it, so maybe it's sweeter after some time, but it's 500ml and I can't wait that long 🤣. Maybe the aroma is a bit peculiar.

Purchased at Kintetsu Department Store's Sake Tour. The label is a sheep kept at the brewery. It has a slight sweetness, and is full, rich, and powerful. It has a strong richness. It might be good if it is laid down. There are graininess and nutty nuances. I guess it's normal for a good price. I didn't buy Yamahai because I didn't want the similar taste to continue, but Yamahai might have been better... It's the third day, but I think it's getting sweeter and tastier than the first day.

Rice used is something from Mie Prefecture Aged for 4 years, pale amber in color. Smoky and graininess with the color as it is. The sweetness is elegant, and the spiciness in the aftertaste has an impact on the throat and nose. It is a little peculiar, but I personally like it! I don't know what the original flavor was, but it has a nice aged feel. ❣️

#Funabori# A bit of a bad look 😅. Homemade sundubu jjigae with a side of homemade sundubu jjigae. We had this one. The sundubu jjigae was I kept the spiciness low so that my family could also enjoy it. I made the best use of the soup stock of shijimi clam. The sake does not have much rice flavor 🤔. Maybe because it is a ginjo sake. It is quite light.

Shizuoka Business Trip #15 Today I had my first taste of rainbow at Nagashima, which was recommended by ellie and @Mizuhashi 😀! I drank it thinking it was definitely a rich one, and it definitely was 😋 😋 It's a little sweet with lots of flavor, but also has a nice sharpness 👍🌟It's good at room temperature, but I thought it would definitely be good heated up too 🥳I'm going to heat it up tomorrow 🤔.

The second restaurant is Sushi Nakamura. This sake was wholesaled by my childhood friend Fujikouji Sake Shop. Unlike the standard Tenkohi, this sake is too refreshing 🤔. This Usagetsukimine seems to be only for Izakaya (Japanese style pubs) and not for retail stores. The standard Tenkohi is more like a thicker, mellow and fruity sake, but this sake is the opposite. The accompaniment is seared cod roe.

It has a good balance and can be served with a wide range of food. It is a limited edition sake, but it has a standard taste. Mr. Ota lives in Kamakura. I was there just two and a half months ago, so I missed it a lot! Once again, Kamakura is a wonderful place! The restaurants that were introduced to us were all very unique and the food looked delicious!

I bought this Wakaba unfiltered sake in the summer and felt it was still young, so I let it sleep in the closet. It has a good balance of flavor, with the punch of unfiltered sake, but without losing the simple country feel of Wakaba. I put it in the closet again, but it was good enough. It's not Wakaba, but Higuchi Shinyo, a triple axel that is anything but rustic! The ROC is still very difficult, but I hope the Japanese will do their best to get on the podium!

I was wondering what the same company that did Tenka and Shihu would do with the Meimon Shukai now that they've taken over the business? I was wondering what they were going to do with the prestigious sake associations, and then they released it 😊. Slightly effervescent, sweet and sour. Is it white malted rice? It's so acidic that I thought it was white malted rice. It also has a slightly dry atmosphere. It has a unique taste, but it is delicious. I wonder if the product for the Meimon Shukai that was sold before was Yuyamanishiki, but instead of using Yuyamanishiki, they used Gohyakumangoku to separate it from Honami.

(My wife went to Izumo where our daughter was staying. (My wife has gone to Izumo with our daughter and Takamatsu with her mother-in-law, so she invited me out since she is alone?) I asked him, "Okay, what time? I asked him what time, and he said noon. There are not many places near my house where you can drink from noon, so we ended up going to Noge. First "shellfish" restaurant I've ever been to. Kikuyu with hot sake (it was a little cold and rainy) 🍶. My oldest son's wife is a sake drinker, so it was perfect! This is my first time drinking it! And I don't usually drink it hot, so I don't know what it is, but it's nice 😋. I can feel the acidity. And the aroma comes in fluffy. I guess I was right in heating it up. What kind of alcohol do you usually drink all the time? 🤔 Beer 🍺? Shochu? Sake🍶? Wine🍷? Our standard is beer 🍺⇨ 4L cheap shochu... 😭 So I'd like to splurge at least on the weekends lol😆😆. Well, today is my day off from my day job... but I've been doing a lot of things around the house and it's been an exhausting Sunday 💦. But...I guess I should have a good cheap local sake with my dinner 😁. Sorry for the long preamble... Here's a local all-year-round sake that I didn't report on yet 🍶. I found this at the local supermarket... but I was looking at the Sake-no-wa app and saw that there are not many reports on it. It's another favorite brand of Kamo Kanehide, "Sakurafukiyuki", which is a standard Junmai sake. The aroma is not that strong, and the plump rice flavor of Junmai can be served cold, room temperature, or heated 👌. However... my personal recommendation is the Junmai Ginjo, which is only available at the direct sales shop... please patronize it when you travel to Hiroshima 😆 lol
