After that, we had today's main dish, fish dinner! So the first drink of our first visit to Maeda-Ya was a fluffy sake from Shodoshima Sake Brewery, also a new brewery to us! According to the waitress, it is a slightly peculiar sake! So let's have it right away! First, the aroma. Not much of an aroma! In the mouth, you can feel the richness, bitterness, and spiciness from the soft and gentle mouthfeel, just like the name of the sake. However, since everything is gentle, there is no unpleasant feeling, and there is a good impression of umami with a complex flavor. Personally, I didn't feel any peculiarities, and it was an excellent sake to be paired with a meal.

Only one sake brewed last year was made by Touji Nakamura, who came from Takeuchi Shuzo. The sake he brought this time was the same one, and he said he couldn't drink it anymore. And this is where time ran out. It took us about 1 hour and 45 minutes to go around the venue. On the way back, we took the train to visit a liquor store in Kusatsu City, Shiga Prefecture. The owner of the liquor store was just visiting the same event, so we spent about an hour talking with the chatty owner, and then we safely returned home.
