It's been a while since I've had sake. I don't often have a chance to drink Ehime sake, but I remembered this bottle that my aunt gave me and opened the bottle. It is a light cloudy, shwashy sake. It is sweet and slightly bitter. Delicious. I can only thank my aunt for this.

At a sake store I stopped by on my way home, my eyes sparkled when I saw that 'it arrived two days ago' and I bought it. The aroma was restrained and there was a bit of an "alu" feeling, but it was easy to drink, not unlike a 16% alu sake! It was a well-balanced drink and went down smoothly with a meal. Delicious 🤭. It is an old sake brewery, but I learned that it recently became a subsidiary of Marukome. I was reminded once again how difficult it is to take over a business. There is not much we can do as individuals, but I would like to support them by buying 🍶 from time to time.

I purchased this sake when I returned home. This is the first sake made from 100% Koshihikari rice. The aroma is subdued, but it has a nice sharpness, The aroma is subdued, but the taste is crisp and clear, It complimented the food very well. It was delicious.

Uchiko in summer I thought I could not drink Uchiko's sake I went to the Ehime Prefectural Office in Osaka I bought a bottle of Chiyonokame at the Ehime Prefectural Office in Osaka. It has a reasonable flavor and richness perfect for a mealtime drink. I want to go for a walk in Uchiko again.
