Quite a fine Junmai Daiginjo sake. There is enough mellow deliciousness. It is a talented brewery in Saitama. Aside from Kamikame, it is the second best sake in Saitama after Hanayo-yoku.

This is the first time I drink it at home. I bought it from Kurumiya in Hachinohe because they only sell one bottle of sake in my neighborhood. I also bought two other kinds of sake that cannot be bought in Kansai. The packaging was very careful and excellent. The aroma is subtle, with hints of strawberries and berries. The refreshing sweetness and acidity are pleasant. The final taste is bitter. I have the impression that Miyamanishiki and other sake I have had in the past were sweeter. I wish there was a store in Kansai where I could buy Shugou... I heard that the sake brewery here is aging, with all the employees over 65 years old. I wonder if that's why they don't distribute much.

Rice used is Miyamanishiki I didn't find it too harsh, but my partner, who prefers a gorgeous sweet taste, found it too much for his palate. It is true that the alcohol taste comes first, and the mouthfeel is not smooth. Sake from a sake brewery in the northern part of the prefecture, located in the famous production area of Hachitan-Nishiki, Hiroshima's representative sake rice.
