Overall, it is refreshing and easy to drink. It is good for accompanying a meal, but it may be too smooth as a stand-alone sake. The taste may have changed since the one I bought from a brewery in Ehime this time last year came out of the fridge. It went well with spicy grilled minos and Umaibo shrimp mayonnaise flavor.

I found this sake in Saku, Nagano. It was only 200ml, but I bought it immediately because it had the matured color I like. The taste is as you would expect, but the sweetness is a perfect match. I thought this could definitely go well warmed up, and it is still delicious! The flavor and sweetness seemed to increase dramatically by warming it up. The rich flavor was like licking honey.

It has been a while since I went to eat Sara-soba! Soba on 5 small flat plates with wasabi, leek, yam, and egg as condiments to change the taste♪ It was cold and I wanted to drink heated sake! We were told that there was only one type of heated sake, so we decided without hesitation! The sake was heated in a tokkuri (sake bottle) with an Otsu-e painting on it and an inokuchi (sake cup). When drunk alone, the sake has a strong flavor of rice, but when paired with dishes with strong flavors and fat, such as soba noodles, duck roast, and mackerel sushi, it goes very well with them! I was happy to drink a little from noon. ❣️

I didn't go to the brewery, but I haven't seen Kyushu Chrysanthemum in Tokyo either, so this will be a first for me. The first aroma is sweet with a hint of acidity. In the mouth, there is a slight bitterness and a strong sweet umami taste that is typical of nama sake. This is a honjozo sake, but it is a very good sake that does not feel like it has been alkaloated. The price is also very reasonable at around 1,300 yen for a five-pack. In Tokyo, you only see gougo bottles of kenrishi or shochu 🤔. I wonder if it is more common in the west?

This is a new release from the sake brewery closest to my house. I was curious about this sake because it was made by locally grown Omachi, so I bought it. It's rather refreshing and a bit lacking in the traditional sake taste 🤔. I tried it warmed up on the instagram of the liquor store where I bought it, and it was great! The flavor opened up and it tasted great. I'm glad to see local sake trying different things 👍Thank you for the food 🙏.

Purchased at a liquor store near Kokura Station The label with a strong sense of specialness caught my attention. I left it at room temperature for about 5 months, missing the fact that it needed to be refrigerated. (immediately after opening the package) Drink it cold. Slightly yellowish but clear Strong aroma of maturity with sweetness. Sourness on the palate The palate is immediately filled with a richness and at the same time, a strong dryness appears. The aftertaste is medium. The aftertaste is surprisingly light. The rich taste is very tasty. Although it is rich, it goes well with sashimi.
