Rice polishing ratio 55%, sake degree +5.5, acidity 1.6, amino acid 1.4, alc 15%, crisp and dry! This is the first time I have had sake made with Ginbuki, and it is very tasty, including the kick!
Today was the last day of work: ❗️
What is the last sake at the end of the year 🤔?
I opened a bottle of Takefujima's Active Nigori after some hesitation. I bought this at the brewery during my summer trip to Lake Biwa history. It was a very nice trip.
Unfortunately it had lost its activity 😭 I left it for five months 😓.
But dry flavor and some acidity. A sweetness that is hidden in the aftertaste. Well matched and easy to drink: ☺️
This would be really good if it had activity!
This one seems to be popular and is sold all year round. Highly recommended.
The snacks are chutoro (medium fatty tuna) and conger eel tempura.
The Christmas cake is from Numazu's long-established Ale Marine.
Let's open another bottle for hot sake 🍶.
What shall we open at the beginning of the year 🤔
Good evening, ellie 🦉.
I see you have an active nigori (a kind of "active" rice wine) 😳I'm in Shiga and haven't tasted it yet💦I'd like to try it if I can find it 😊.
I was in Shizuoka at the beginning of December and could hardly see it 😢.
Good evening Ponchan ^ ^
It's bad luck not to see Fuji in December😅
I just checked the Shizuoka review 😆 I missed it around the time I left the hospital 😓.
You have a good eye to choose Kaiun. It's a brewery as good as Isoboast: ❗️
Good evening, ellie 😃.
Thank you for a year of work 😌and it's nice to end the year with a souvenir drink 🍶 from a memorable trip 🤗 though it still has a few days to go so it may not be over yet 😆.
Good evening Jay & Novi ^ ^.
Thank you for a great year 😊 Thanks to you I am becoming much more knowledgeable about alcohol.
I plan to open another bottle! I have several bottles stocked up for hot sake 😋.
In the photo, it is the leftmost green label.
The aroma is very sake-like. I thought it might be a little spicy considering the sake degree of +5.5, but it was not that spicy and was very drinkable. I thought it might be a little spicy, but it was not that spicy and was easy to drink.
Today we will open a very special one that is not available in Shizuoka 😋.
Continuing our trip to Shiga.
Going north in Nagahama, there is the Tomita Sake Brewery, famous for the Seven Spears, and a few doors down is the Yamaji Sake Brewery, but we passed them on our way over the Mt.
On the way to Saba Highway, we happened to find Yoshida Sake Brewery. It is very close to Sugaura village, which we were looking for, so we definitely wanted to stop by here rather than Tomita Sake Brewery 🤔.
Apparently it is a brewery that is being revitalized by a company started by a Gekkeikan alumnus. Pon-chan told me about it😊I looked it up and it seems to be a company called Yume Sake Brewery.
In the second photo, on the right is Chikubu Island. If you go into the back of the peninsula on the left, you will find Sugaura.
Now for the taste...
The sweetness is moderate and sharp^ ^ ^I think the umami is high! The sake taste that comes to your nose at the end is also refreshing😄That's pretty good.
It went well with sashimi.
The two pictures in the back are Sugaura, which I wanted to visit at least once. The four-legged gate marking the boundary of Somura and the Suga Shrine, where shoes are strictly prohibited. You have to take off your shoes from these stairs.
Hi ellie 😃
Beautiful paintings 🖼️ like the labels😍and the fact that you can see the scenery in the pictures 👍Memorable one 🤗.
Ah! I didn't realize 😅Congratulations on your 100+ ㊗️ 🎉!
Hi ellie 🐦 I've never been to Sugaura even though I'm in Shiga.
I've never been to Sugaura even though I'm in Shiga 💦It has an atmosphere of God's presence ✨I haven't had a drink at Chikubujima since it was rebuilt, so it's been a while since I've tasted it 😊.
Good evening, Ponchan😄
Sugaura is not so easy to visit even for history buffs😅because I love things😅.
I bought it because of the label, but I could also see Chikubu Island from Sugaura, so I bought it immediately!
I have another bottle of another brand in the fridge 🤭.
