Arrival at today's inn. We will have a yakimugi bento (barley lunch box) bought at Tosu station on the way to the hotel! When the bottle is opened, it has a pudding-like aroma. It has a mild, pudding or custard-like flavor, just like the standing aroma, and the soft, round sweetness is really pleasant! The tanginess of the brewing alcohol can be felt directly afterwards, but it can be enjoyed with a good balance! I couldn't distinguish it from the one-cup sake for a moment, but it is a fine Saga sake.

Drinking Past, Drinking Home November finally arrived! The label of Mutsugoro in the shape of Saga Prefecture is unique 😊. It was a bit chilly that day, so I had it at room temperature! It's been a while since I had my first Suiroku Miyamanishiki sake. The aroma is not that great, but when you put it in your mouth you think it's sweet and refreshing. I opened it when I was drunk 😅. Freshly brewed with Miyamanishiki from Nagano Prefecture. I'm not sure what to make of it, but I'm sure it'll be good. The color is milky white. The smell is mild, with a hint of flowers. The taste is fruity, but not too sweet. It has a nice umami taste with a slight sourness and bitterness in the aftertaste. You can feel the alcohol quite a bit, it's 17 degrees, so it's thick. It is easy to drink on the rocks with ice. I think it tastes better if you drink it this way. It has a refreshing, dry, gassy flavor that pairs well with 🍖 meat dishes and Chinese and other oily dishes 😋~.

The bottle was opened without any sign of carbonation. The whey-like smell is gorgeous. The taste is dry and rice-like. It finishes with a sense of rice and acidity. It is a taste you can find when you drink orikara-mi. The sweetness is added by mixing in the ori that has accumulated at the bottom, and it is just right. It is delicious. As you get used to drinking it, it becomes more familiar to your tongue and you can drink it in large gulps, and it is irresistibly good as you continue drinking it. It tastes even better after a year in the refrigerator, but I can't wait that long.

Akebono Shuzo's Akebono Seishun, well known for Tenmei. I drink Tenmei from time to time, but this label is new to me, so I opened the bottle 🎉. The aroma is gentle and subdued. It has a slight viscosity and seems to be quite sweet, but the bitterness soon develops. It then fades away leaving a complex umami taste. At 17 degrees alkalinity, the flavor is thick and robust from the first sip 👊. This Daiginjo is made from Yamada-Nishiki polished to 40%. We enjoyed this clear yet rich umami sake 😋.

I was given a lifetime of youth! Akebono Shuzo is also popular for "Tenmei"! It is a special junmai (pure rice) with rich umami and sweetness, but with a tangy alcohol taste! Mmmmmmmmmmmm... At home. I bought this as a souvenir when I enjoyed lunchtime drinking at Changlong Brewpark and had it at home. I guess it is a slightly different version of the one I had at lunch. The aroma may be influenced by the name of bamboo ⁉️.... Unlike the lunchtime drink, it was fresh, sweet, sour, and refreshing. The fact that I was able to bring back a good one as a souvenir made my day more enjoyable and memorable... ‼️ The fourth picture is of Kaguya-chan, the mascot of Hiroryo Town.

At Changlong Brewpark. The second drink was Shikisaki. We were told that it is recommended as a food sake, so we had it with our bento. It is a dry sake with a strong umami flavor that can be savored slowly. It has a completely different taste from the Sakurabito we had earlier, and is good for variety. ‼️ We got tipsy and bought some souvenirs for our holiday.

Dry with a hint of flavor. Almost room temperature at the beginning of the drink. No sweetness whatsoever! But it's not hard to drink. I don't know if this is a good analogy, but I drink it as a very light shochu. It's meant to be a sipping drink, but it goes into your body quickly! The second day starts with a cold sake. On the back of the label, it says it's a little dry. Perhaps because it is an unpasteurized sake, it doesn't have a strong alcoholic flavor, but it does have a bitter aftertaste and a tongue-tickling sensation. It may not be suitable for those who don't like the dry taste.

I had never seen this brand before, so I couldn't resist buying it. This is a sake brewery in Shunan City, Yamaguchi. There are about 1,400 sake breweries in Japan, so it's no wonder that there are breweries and brands that I don't know (there are more than 1,000 here). Even if I were to drink one brand every day for the rest of my life, it would take me almost 30 years (^_^;) It's simply impossible. This was an aside. The moment you put it in your mouth, the aroma is distinctive. I wonder what it is, is it the aroma of rice? In total, the aroma is fluffy, the taste is tangy, and the sweetness is warm. I think it's delicious.

Today, I'm going to have a pure blue. I mean, I went to Tomikunishiki yesterday to buy the Galaxy label. Unfortunately, it was sold out for mail order😭. Basically, I'm the kind of person who thinks that shipping costs are less than the cost of gasoline, so I thought I'd go and drive an hour or so to get there, but I didn't realize how popular the Galaxy Label was. I had no choice but to buy this Ikarashi Tokubetsu Junmai. It's sweet but delicious ☺️. I think I'll mail order it properly next year. I should have bought either Kamesen's SEL or Gohashi, which I saw at the liquor store on my way home.

I went to buy sake for my annual plum wine yesterday and found this. It's a sake made by reviving the oldest sake rice called Shiratama (test brewed sake). It tastes like Tomikunishiki, full and mellow... very delicious☺️. I love it after all. It's so delicious 😆.

This was one of the bottles I bought at the recent New Sake Festival. I was going to miss it this year, but it was on sale so I bought it. It was cold and had a little bit of cemedine smell in the mouth...and then a spicy taste. It doesn't leave much of a aftertaste either. Delicious.

A special order from Meishukan Takimoto. When I opened it, I heard a powerful popping sound. It is a lightly fizzy, fruity and sweet sake. The sourness comes in at the end. Kawatsuru is always delicious no matter what you drink.

The second glass was Hiwada, a pure rice with a fresh herbal base, Autumn up. Hiwada is a brand new to me. It is a bit more umami than Onumaya, with a rich flavor. But it has a dry, swishy feel. (Laughs) Goes well with sashimi. Oh, man, I can drink it so easily. Hey, Miyagi sake is delicious! Our business partner was also excited. (Laughs) It was very delicious! (^O^)
