Purchased at a mass retailer in Tokyo, attracted by the label. It was served cold. As soon as I opened it, the aroma that I, a sake novice, imagined was "the sake! The aroma is what I would imagine a sake novice like me would smell like. It is light and has a pleasant taste that does not linger on the palate. I would rather drink it a little bit at a time between dishes than to drink it in rapid succession. Today I will enjoy it with some Japanese and Western snacks and pork shabu-shabu.
I received a souvenir from Kanazawa!
I had told my wife's friend that I like nigori and like bubbles, so I'm glad she looked for it during our trip!
It's delicious with the sweetness of rice and a hint of bitterness from the schwa 🍶✨.
