This is KIYOMIZU from the same hanpukai. The difference is that Maikaze from Gunma Prefecture is used instead of Gohyakumangoku. The aroma is the same as SAKAEMASU, but milder. The taste is surprisingly less cloying than SAKAEMASU. There are not many rice varieties that have a cleaner sake quality than Gohyakumangoku. The sweetness is also relatively strong and full-bodied.

Nagurayama Shuzo's Aizu Shikon is brewed in Aizu Wakamatsu City. A bottle given to me by my predecessor, who recently reached retirement age. He said it was a thank-you for the 3 kg of new rice he delivered every year during his tenure, which he called a "taste test. Rice has become sake! The nose has a fruity ginjo aroma, but the fragrance is subdued. The mouthfeel has a gentle, round sweetness and a satisfying umami. The fruity feeling that passes through the nose and the mild acid bitterness that comes at the end disappear slowly and gently. I had an image that Houyo was not my favorite, but this is good! I can say that when it comes to high-class wines, this one is genuinely tasty. Thank you very much for the sake!

I was told "We're just a bunch of old guys". I don't look like I can drink when I meet someone for the first time 🤣. I usually drink 4 gou of sake standing up as a kind of half gou 🤣. I drank plenty of water, so I don't have a hangover. Now, I have my first narai among them, a beta version with different yeast. It has a serial number. I was told that I should drink it because it is rare, so I was persuaded to drink it again today. The sweetness is more pronounced when it is brought to room temperature. Both were delicious, but I preferred the one on the left. I don't think I will be able to drink it again (except at this restaurant). I didn't eat much food at the bar. This is because the hotel we stayed at, the Chateraise Hotel, had a welcome cake 🍰 which we ate before heading out. One per person, but the size is big so you are full. You can drink as much as you want, but I decided to be moderate because I was going to have alcohol afterwards 😌.

Aizan sake, still stocked but a little interrupted for refrigerator reasons😅. Shochiku Ume, but brewed in Nada, not Fushimi. There's a big building that looks like a factory near Sunshine Wharf. The bottle and cap have a unique design. The aroma on the nose is quite gorgeous, with a slight nuance of peppermint. In the mouth, it has a gorgeous sweetness and a bitter spiciness. It is refreshing but has a strong personality, probably because it is an unfiltered sake.

Souvenirs from Shinshin SY Among several souvenirs, I chose this one intuitively by looking at the label. He brought three four-packs of sake as a souvenir, which is a generous gesture for a business traveler who travels all over the country. I would never have been able to do such a thing with my own pocketbook. When I pour it into the cup, it is more yellow than I expected! Is this a matured type? The aroma is slightly fruity, but has a bitter, mature aroma. The mouthfeel is crisp and dry, with a light sweetness and bitterness, and a moderate umami, but the maturing aroma in the aftertaste is unique. The light sourness and bitterness in the aftertaste are quite a tricky thing to pull off. This strange taste is not one of my favorites, but it is something that makes me want to drink it again. It reminds me of that strange feeling I had in junior high school when I used to prank cigarettes behind my back. It's a treat!
