A bubbly sake with sake kasu. It has strong fruity smells such as melon and grape, very smooth and sweet. There is also a hint of minerals. It matches well with food as well as drink alone. A good choice for both beginners and sake lovers.

It is a combination of two types of sake rice, Yamada-Nishiki and Omachi... Well, what does it taste like?

The taste comes from the acidity, followed by a light sweetness, and finishes with bitterness!

Today is an ordinary Saturday, but a weekend just for my daughter and me. I bought her all the stationery she wanted for her cram school at AEON. I finished cooking oden for dinner, and now it's time for me alone.
I decided to drink the best of both worlds: a premium Hana-yoku, a Miyamanishiki Junmai Daiginjo, and a bottle of Orikarami. It was going to be the best drinking at home this year.
I know that this brewery's sake is hard right after opening the bottle. But this euphoria is maxed out from the first day.

At this price point, I'm not sure when to open it, but maybe I've laid it down too long...?
Like the Junmai Ginjo Yamadanishiki Nao Kumi released in May, it has a rich, mellow sweet taste with a pronounced pineapple flavor!
Compared to the Junmai Ginjo, I have the impression that the aftertaste is a little less bitter and a little more nicely rounded.
It is very tasty, but I don't think the difference in price is as great as the difference in taste.
I'll have another Hanahayo next season...

The last of our Miyamanishiki drinking comparison is the Kahayokyu Miyamanishiki Premium ✨.
The aroma rising from the glass is full-blown fruity, as is typical of Hanaoyukyu, with a juicy aroma that reminds one of ripe pineapple🍍. When you take a sip, a light sweetness spreads at first, followed by a hint of acidity on the tip of the tongue. This acidity enhances the freshness of the wine, giving the impression of a more beautiful overall balance. The word "beautiful" is the perfect word to describe this wine. It has a gorgeous mouthfeel, but the aftertaste is light and disappears quickly. It has a special feeling among the other wines in the comparison, and as the name suggests, it has a "premium" finish. The harmony of acidity and sweetness, which is different from the softness of nigori and junmai daiginjo, stands out, making it a must-try for fans of Hanaoyokyu. The sweetness and umami that spreads smoothly in the mouth is exquisite, and there is almost no bitterness in the aftertaste, giving the impression of a very clear and easy drinking sake. It has a clear, transparent flavor that is typical of junmai daiginjos, with no cloying taste, so it does not interfere with meals, and can be enjoyed on its own. In particular, its fruity aroma and gentle mouthfeel are pleasant and make you want to drink more. Compared to the junmai ginjos and nigori that I have had in the past, I felt the quality and refined atmosphere that only a junmai daiginjo can offer. It was a sake that I could honestly say was delicious with its gorgeousness and Miyamanishiki charm that is typical of Hana-yoso ✨.
