It has a sweet and sour taste that is typical of Shinmasa, but is easy to drink! I wanted to drink more 😆! The third picture is a delicious motsu-ni (pork bone) stew!

Personally, I like it warmed up, so I usually ask for lukewarm to hot, but it was cold today (not so much in Matsumoto, but it was extremely cold in my hometown during the day), so I went with hot sake. It was cold today (not so much in Matsumoto, but it was very cold in my hometown during the day), so I went with hot sake. And the sake is good, too. I wanted to order a dish of simmered fish, but they were out of it, so I had to settle for ponzu sauce with shirako (white fish). But whatever it was, it was delicious. The heated sake is delicious.

☆☆☆☆☆ Raw, aged sake. It has a firm maturity. I don't really know how it tastes like a raw sake, but it's just so rich and tasty. I've paired it with sashimi, but I think it would be better with meat dishes. But I think it is a good challenge sake for those who like matured sake.

Nagano is Matsumoto on a business trip. I entered a store that caught my attention. Halloween label of Takachiyo. It was a hit with me, a lover of sweet and savory. Happy Halloween! It is a bit of a walk from Matsumoto Station, but "Fukashu" is located near Matsumoto Castle. They have a large selection of sake and the food is delicious! I will visit again. Thank you very much for your hospitality.

☆☆☆☆☆ Freshly squeezed with a slight sourness. Delicious. It's not as good as yuan-yaki, but... Next week, I will participate in the Imojikai festival in Yamagata. I won't be drinking at the Imojikai, but I chose to stay in Yamagata City the night before and Aizuwakamatsu the night after, so it will be great fun for me as a sake drinker. I may skip Jyushidai and Keisaku...?

☆☆☆☆☆ I don't remember packing liquor like this. I think it's been a while, so I've forgotten. The rice seems to be Gohyakumangoku, but it is fresh and fruity, not so much light and refreshing as it seems to be nowadays. It's tasty, but I think it's a bit inferior to the yuan-yaki (grilled salmon). Perhaps it is time for a sake like Shimebari Tsuru or Taiyozakari. It is a sake made in Hokkaido.
