On the third day of the Nabesama drinking comparison, I will mainly report on the Akaban Omachi fire-brewed Nabesama 😀. This sake is not as impressive as Tokujun in terms of taste change when heated, nor is it as impressive as Ihyakumangoku when drunk cold, but it is a versatile sake that tastes great both lukewarm and cold 😀. In a sense, a single bottle of sake that tastes great both warmed and chilled is an amazing existence 😀. I think the best taste was when I left it in a glass for a while to test it out and let the temperature naturally rise from refrigerator storage temperature to room temperature 😀.

Hi Pon 😀 Nabeshima is really a great sake 😀. I've been comparing them and while there is a core of Nabeshima flavor, each one has its own individuality that shines through 😀. Finally, tonight is the Purple, which has been fire-brewed, but this is my first time to drink it raw 😀.

Nabesama drinking comparison day 2 Today is the second day of the three bottles opened yesterday 😀. We compared them with hiya and lukewarm 😀. First of all, the orange in the hiya tastes as good as it did on the second day of opening 😀. Jungin Omachi has opened up and tasted better than the first day 😀. The most surprising thing today was the green special junmai hi-ire 😀. It tasted so much better when it was heated up ❤️ I would definitely recommend drinking the special junmai hi-ire lukewarm from the first day of opening the bottle 😀. The orange one is too sour for me when lukewarm due to the fact that it's raw 😅.

Now that Kaorin has recovered, we are going to start a sake drinking comparison that we have been planning for a while 😀. Last year around this time, when I was just starting to drink sake, I wanted to know how different sake rice tasted 😀 I compared them with Kaze no Mori's 807 series. It's hard for a beginner to tell the difference unless you actually put them next to each other😅. This time we prepared 6 bottles of Nabeshima-san's sake rice, different brewing methods, and different raw and hi-ire styles to see if they have grown up a bit since last year 😀. We started with a special junmai, a junmai ginjo Akaban Omachi, and a junmai ginjo Gohyakumangoku raw 😀. Today, right after opening the bottle, I found the raw Ihyakumangoku to be the most delicious, with the most fruity taste and aroma 😀. Tomorrow, I think the other two bottles will probably open up in taste. I'm looking forward to see how my impression will change 😀. By the way, Kaorin felt the special junmai was the tastiest and the raw was the heaviest 😅. Maybe we both still have stupid tastes after a year 🤣.

Today is the first day of work😅 I'm sorry to say that this New Year's Day has been full of gloomy news and I have to go straight to work. Pon-chan said that we should help the consumption of Hokuriku sake, but there is no liquor store open on my way home from work that carries Hokuriku sake😅. I went home and checked my stock of sake and there was not a single bottle of Hokuriku sake in my stock of over 30 bottles😭. So I had no choice but to have this Eiko-Fuji today 😀. It was my first time to drink Eiko-Tomiji at home... the sake tasted really good, but I was a little disappointed in a different way 😅.

The second sake of the New Year was not finished yet, back to the new sake nigori competition 😀. Hagi no Tsuru Shiboritate Unfiltered Nama Sake 😀 A light lees has accumulated at the bottom of the bottle 😀. This is my principle, but I stir the lees thoroughly before serving 😀. I think the toji-san designs and brews the sake with this mixed taste, so I feel sorry for him to drink an incomplete sake 😅. Of course, I understand the feeling of wanting to drink only the supernatant separately, so I don't mean to deny that way of drinking 😀. But Hagi no Tsuru's light nigori is very fruity and delicious 😀. It was especially clear and tasty when the taste cut off nicely after drinking 😀. It was a great start to the new year's new sake nigori competition 😀.

Actually, I moved this October 😀. It's only a 30 minute walk, but it's still one train line away from where I commute to work, so my living area has completely changed😅. Thanks to this, Kinoshita in Senri-Chuo, which I used to visit often, changed to Kinoshita Honten in Minami-Senri, and Sake Kozo in Minami-Morimachi changed to Sake Kozo Honten in Miyako-jima 😀. Surprised to see the different selection between the main store and the branch 😅. This sake is the first sake I met at Sake Takakura's main store 😀. Atago no Matsumatsu no Shinshu Ooragarami 😀. This sake is also unquestionably delicious 😀. My impression of Atago no Matsumatsu has been destroyed 😀. By the way, I thought it would be easier to tell the difference in taste between the snowball and the UA snowball that we compared, as the schwarziness would settle down, but the taste got closer than yesterday 😅.

We use water from the Central Alps and 💧. and carefully selected Miyamanishiki from the local Inadani area. All the ingredients are pure rice. Brewed at low temperature fermentation Soft and elegant sweetness 🍈...🍈. Full-bodied and clear due to low-temperature fermentation brewing. It has a pleasantly sharp taste with a lingering aftertaste. You can drink it for a long time without getting tired of it 🤤. This is a crane drink... 🤣

At the restaurant I usually go to, I'm one glass of wine, so I'm really drunk when I get home, but today's restaurant was about 90ml, so I drank even after I got home😇. I bought it when I went to buy the turtle sea. Not fruity, but spastic and sharp with a firm sugary sweetness and a bit of minerality and bitterness. It also has a little gasiness. I think it tastes better than the Yamama I had before. Still gassy days after opening.

I bought it because everyone raved about it in Sake no Wa and it seemed to be well received. This is my first time to buy Kame no Umi. It has a light gassy feeling. It has a fruity aroma, a pineapple-like sweet flavor, and a trace of bitterness at the end. I like it a lot.

It has been a very long time since I have had Nabeshima. It was a month ago that I went to Takakura-san in Miyakojima, Tokyo, thinking I wanted to drink Nabeshima. It is a rare pattern for me to keep Nabeshima in the refrigerator for a month without drinking it. I remember I bought Ura-nabeshima at Takakura-san. There are many brands that they carry, so I'll just excerpt the ones that seem to be rare in the Kansai area. I think they are Kame-no-umi, Beaumichel, Kankoubai, Fukusuku, Sakamatsu, Ko-Imari, Shinanotsuru, Azumatsuru, and Ichidai Yazan. I was finally able to purchase a special honjozo, which I had never had a chance to see among the Nabeshima brands. The label says "pink label" but it looks like wood grain. It is quite sweet and the second half is spicy and sharp. It is sweet, but I think it is not too sweet for a negative sake degree. Nabeshima is supposed to be gassy, but this one is not. The muscat flavor is stronger than before.

We drank some Yamada-Nishiki fire-rotating plums before and were very impressed. This time it's a fresh one from Omachi. The date is January this year, but we didn't have any when we went there earlier in the spring, but I wonder if it was sitting in the warehouse. It's fruity and sweet. It has a slight bitterness at the end. This is my favorite. I've seen penguins and white bears in the past, but I like this one better. I wish more stores carried it.

浪花正宗の流通限定商品。年によって無濾過生原酒だったり米が違ったりすようですが記載無いので不明。購入店のホームページによると、あさひのゆめと言う一般米だそう。穏やかというかクリアでさっぱり系の味。みずみずしい感じする。
