The last sake of 2025 is from my hometown, Kanagawa! I bought this sake at a liquor store (Miyagawa Sake Shop) on my way home from grocery shopping! Not much aroma. Umami sweetness, moderate acidity, almost no bitterness. Refreshing aftertaste, probably due to a little alcohol. It is so beautiful that it is hard to believe that the rice polishing ratio is 90%! Delicious! I'll visit the brewery on my way back from a visit to Daisen next time 😊.

Hachiryuubai Junmai Currently the only sake brewery in Odawara Unusual brewery that manufactures in a refrigerated logistics warehouse. They moved from Aichi to Odawara. I saw it at my favorite supermarket and bought it. Dry, robust, old-fashioned sake. It is characterized by acidity and a characteristic (habitual) umami taste. Once you get used to it, it tastes good!
