It is made from "Comet", Hokkaido's preferred rice for sake brewing. The blue label has a rice polishing ratio of 60%, and there is also a red label. It is a neat, dry sake suitable for eating.
Otokoyama, known for its dry taste, has gone the other way and made this sake. It is a sweet sake, and is more like a syrup made from rice. But it is a good introduction to sake, like ume (plum) wine.
Daiginjo unfiltered nama sake. Well-balanced and easy to drink, but with plenty of umami. The cute "Morinokuma-san" label is said to be a variety of rice grown in Kumamoto Prefecture.
This is a heavy, robust, and satisfying bottle. It is said that the name of the brand comes from the president of Kikumori Sake Brewery's specialty (mixed martial arts).
Sweet, sour and juicy. The 12% alcohol content makes it light and easy to drink. It is probably better suited to be enjoyed alone than with food. The label and the name are very Evangelion-like. There is a preview of the next episode on the back of the bottle.
