This is my first time to buy a bottle.
I had no idea about the brand name or the lineup, and was attracted by the dry junmai (pure rice) flavor, so I bought it. After I brought it home, I learned that it was from Fukuoka.
First, I opened the bottle and heard a light popping sound, which gave me the impression that this was not my favorite type of sake.
When I put my mouth on it, I felt numbness on my lips and the tip of my tongue. As I continue to sip, thinking that this is the reason for the dry taste, I feel the sweetness and bitterness pass over the numbness, and they fall together before passing down my throat.
My personal impression is that it does not end as quickly as sake from the Tohoku region, but rather disappears, leaving a lingering aftertaste.
I would have liked to have paired it with local food.
Nagoya 3rd Cup
Ordered to recall the taste of Fukuoka where I was last week!
It looked strong, but it was gentler than Niigata, with a slight fizziness.
I paired it with a dish with ponzu sauce, just like in Kyushu, and it was delicious!
KILLER QUEEN👸 in the Cold North Star
Unlike the shi-bi-en series, BLACKJACK and KILLER QUEEN have a few dealers in Tokyo.
What's the difference? 🤔
The top aroma is a sweet aroma of rice with a soft lactic acid bacteria drink-like freshness.
When you put it in your mouth, you get a slight carbonation dust 🫧.
Slightly bitter and refreshing juicy rice sweetness.
The refreshing sweetness that is typical of Kanbokuto is perfect for summer.
It was delicious 🍶✨️
Muso no Kire, the Emperor of Dry Mouth Black Jack Japan
This product is the hottest in KANBOKUTO. It is a strong, strong product that breaks through the limit.
Kanbokuto Shuzo is the representative of Kyushu's dry sake brewery. The dashing dry style is a perfect complement to Kyushu cuisine as well as to any other cuisine, both Japanese and Western.
The general served it to me, saying it was "dry."
Personally, I think it's umakuchi.
It certainly has a volatile and sharp taste of alcohol,
but it has a refreshing acidity!
It goes well with Hakata cuisine.
Clear! Oh my god, it's so good, I drink too much.
My favorite brand in Fukuoka.
I had the seared saury with Japanese mustard. It was delicious! It goes well with kabosu and mustard.
Kan Hokuto" (Tamanoi Shuzo, now 2011 - Kan Hokuto Shuzo, Kama City, Fukuoka Prefecture) is the fruit of local passion, including "Tamura Honten" in Moji, Kitakyushu City, and has won five awards at the 2024 Fukuoka Prefecture Sake Competition, including the "Fukuoka Prefecture Governor Award" and "Gold Award. It is a proud sake with a very deep flavor.
This is the first time for me to taste Autumn ver. The aroma is full of rice flavor. Slightly tangy and full of mellow rice flavor. It is a classic type of sake, but it is not heavy and easy to drink. The Civien series is really good.
