It was soooo good!!! I want to drink it again. It has a slight sparkle like a modern wine, with a hint of pear, but it's not too sweet, and I would drink it in large gulps. Not too risky. I think girls would like it. I've never heard of modern Yamahai before!

At "Sake Master's Shop Sakoya" in Matsue, Japan. "I want a rare sake! Please give me something that goes well with salted mackerel!" I told him and was served this rare sake. It is a sake that can only be obtained through a contract with the Sake Sen Kuranin Goronokai, a group that protects the Kame-no-o (sake rice).
It's a very beautiful junmai, too delicious! It goes too well with salted mackerel! The aroma is fruity and the taste is refreshing!
