Quiet taste, aromatic aroma of almond pudding deep in the chest. Violet floral nuances. Smooth powdery, non-sticky niggles. My favorite of the day. Would drink again.
With recommended hot hot sake. (Even though the picture is lukewarm lol)
The master said it was a very manly sake.
It has a woody aroma and a honey-lemon acidity.
When you drink it, the alcohol leaves your nose! The alcohol leaves your nose.
It is dense, dense, and delicious! Manly!
As the temperature settles down, you also notice walnut-like nuttiness and graininess.
It certainly has a masculine entrance.
but it also has a surprisingly sharp and modern nuance.
Turnips and miso walnuts and
Mullet milt & brown enoki mushrooms with ponzu sauce make an excellent pairing.
4/5 stars for my taste.
I asked for a delicious heated sake from the west and this sake came out.
The color was quite brownish like old sake. As requested, it has a strong umami flavor. However, it has a surprisingly light aftertaste and fades away quickly. It has an overall bitter taste. It tastes mature.
This kind of alcohol!
I haven't had Kaiharu's sake since I lived in Shimane, Japan, a long time ago.
Yeah, it's been 25 years...
But...
I'm sure it's getting better!
I mean, maybe it's totally different.
This sake is made with a bag suspension, and it was made well.
We certainly got a taste of it.
Thank you 😭
Made with Kame-no-o, a fantastic rice
This special bottle of sake, which can only be encountered by members only, is brewed with "Kame-no-o," which is called "phantom sake rice.
Since it is sold only to members of the brewery's "Sake Sen Kuranin Goronokai," it is a rare sake that is rarely found on the market.
Fire-brewed sake is also available, but we especially recommend the Junmai Ginjyo Nama-no-Hara Sake
It is juicier, fresher, and has a stronger sense of dynamic flavor. However, some people may find it "peculiar" due to its unique flavor.
Drinking it with ice mellows out the taste and the peculiarity disappears 💗.
Also, please note that it is only available at ryokans designated by the brewery (such as Nogawa-ya Ryokan) or at a limited number of specially contracted liquor stores 🍶.
