The description reads, "Sake with sweetness and a crisp aftertaste, with a refreshing acidity like citrus fruits," "The kind of sake you want to drink while remembering your second love, not your first," and "Made with 100% Shirakiku rice from Hyogo Prefecture.
The description says, "Made with 100% Shirakiku rice produced in Hyogo Prefecture." It has a firm umami flavor. It is delicious.
By the way, "Eikyuu" is pronounced "Eikyun" in Japanese.
If I had read the description carefully before drinking it, I think it would have tasted even more exceptional...too bad.
It is described as "sake brewed by Ryunosuke Furudate and other like-minded employees who put their hearts and souls into it."
I smelled the aroma, put it in my mouth, and drank it. The more I drink, the more delicious it tastes. It is delicious.
This was the first time I tried this muddy junmai daiginjo sake. I couldn't tell if it had the flavor of a daiginjo or not...the muddy sake flavor overpowered it, but it wasn't bad.
I bought it knowing it was sweet, but it had so much distinctive sweetness, aroma, and taste. I thought it would be sweet like Sauternes, but it wasn't quite what I was expecting. I thought I had to drink it by itself, like a dessert wine, otherwise it wouldn't go well with a meal and this wine wouldn't come alive.
Delicious! What an aroma and taste. The acidity and fruit-like sweetness of the flavor. It is numbing. I have never had such a sake.

I was given a drink at Yakitori Seo on the basement floor of the Tokyo Station Hotel.
To say the least, it was delicious!
The sake has a great flavor and aroma.
I liked it.
