Monnaka, which I have longed to visit, is at Shimorome.
Aroma of slightly ripe rice grain,
It also has a fruity nuance like red apples.
The texture is silky and smooth.
It has a slight apricot and apple fruity aroma.
The taste is round with a beautiful graininess.
Smartly contoured acidity and spiciness that goes down the throat.
It finishes with a quiet aftertaste.
It goes well with chawanmushi (steamed egg custard with salmon roe on top) with a hint of Tosa vinegar.
Preference 4/5
I picked up a bottle I bought on a trip to Morioka, because it looked sparkling in the refrigerator. It was pumped directly from the tank.
It is dry, with a sake degree of plus 8.
I drank it over several days, but I could feel the insistence of the flavor that caught in my throat. While my mind understood that this was the tonga part of this sake, my tongue could not get used to it.
This is a completely subjective impression.

drinking at home
This sake is from the birthplace of Nanbu Touji.
The slightly lower alcohol content gives it a summer sake feel, but it is not light, and because it is pumped directly from the tank, it is very heavy, so you can drink it in a leisurely manner.
Even those who do not like light summer sake can enjoy it.
