Freshly squeezed new sake. Although there is no indication on the label, it is probably a raw sake (generally speaking) with an alcohol content of 19%. On the first day of opening the bottle, the attack was a bit harsh, probably due to the brewer's alcohol content, and I was full after one sake, but after three days it has become a little easier to drink. With only half a month left in this year, I am going to enjoy the year-end and New Year's holidays covered in sake!

Living in the Hokuriku area, we don't often see sake from Okayama Prefecture. This is the first time I have had this sake, and it is extremely tasty and umami. On the left is the Junmai 70%-5% Polished No Excess. The aroma is not so strong, but when you drink it, you will find that it is fruity, just like grapefruit! The fact that it is not sweet at all is typical of Junmai sake. It is recommended as an introductory sake for women and those who are not good at sake. On the right is Junmai Assemblage, a dry junmai sake. It is very easy to drink and has no peculiarities, so it scored 100 points as a food sake.

The Abe Brewery is close to my parents' house, but to be honest, I had never heard of them until recently. It has been a while since my family has had a chance to get together and this is one of the bottles brought during our stay at a hot spring resort in Toyama. Everyone loves it so much they bring this one every time (laughs). It has a relatively sweet taste. We were going to drink it with our meal, but since all we had was fish, we decided to have it later in a hurry. When served by itself, it has a very luxurious, full-bodied, sweet flavor. Personally, I prefer to drink it cold because it tastes a bit sweet depending on the temperature.
