This sake is made by the same company as Jikin, Kiyamasa Shuzo.
It is a little less aromatic and umami than Jikin and more of a food sake, but it is very tasty!
I spent a happy time with this rare sake. ☺️

It is a delicious sake with a refreshing taste, but you can also taste the deliciousness of rice 🍶.
It seems to go well with any food 😋.

I had Hitogokochi last time and this time I had Kinmon-nishiki.
It has a good balance of sweetness and acidity, and I can taste the umami of the rice.

The proprietress served us sake that had been aged for 9 years at minus 2 degrees Celsius 🍶.

When I was told that, it tasted like Tasake...

It has a deep flavor that you wouldn't expect from a honjozo, and it goes great with food.

Freshly squeezed and fresh tasting, with a perfect balance of sweetness and acidity 🤤.
Personally, I prefer a fuller taste with more rice flavor 🌾.
