It is brewed in a wooden vat made of precious Akita cedar, and the distinctive label uses the grain of the wood as a background. Nice aroma. It has a very refreshing taste and is easy to drink.
Mexican Tequila, I missed it. I was not able to taste it, so I would like to try this Kochi yeast sake, now I want to drink it 🍶Sake no Wa, you have registered with Toyonou Ume.
This is one of the bottles we stocked in Akita this summer. It is sparkling and as the name "Dolce (sweet)" suggests. It is filled with carbonation and has a strong sweetness, but it tastes very much like Japanese sake. I heard that there is also a Brut. If I have a chance, I would definitely like to try that one too.
Another round of drinks after the closing ceremony, as it was still good. This is my first time to drink Yamanashi sake. This one was too peculiar for me. So this is an extra.
The sixth and seventh glasses are a comparison of Miyagi's best sake. It has a nice mouthfeel. Shirasu (baby sardine) on Tochio fried tofu, pizza style. Very tasty.
The third glass was a junmai ginjo from Fukushima. It was my first time to drink this sake, but it was better than I expected because of its umami flavor.
