I bought it because I like sweet sake. I enjoyed drinking it because of the description on the back, but I would like to try it with different sake rice.
I love Kamenoi's spirit of challenge!
I used to think about what kind of sake goes well with food, but after drinking this sake, I realized that I don't need to think about anything else because the sake is so delicious. I used to like sweet sake, but this one has just the right amount of acidity in the umami flavor, and it has been a long time since I have encountered a good sake.
At 10 percent alcohol, it is easy to drink, and the citrus fruit makes it easy for women to drink. I like to drink it cold on a hot day. A cup of this quantity is just right.
Cho-Oroku Unfiltered Naokumi 2024
It seems that only a small amount of Naokumi and Nakatori are available.
This was my first time to drink Oroku 2024, and I was surprised at the freshness and the barrel or cedar feeling since I always drink 2 to 3 years old.
I bought the sake recommended by the liquor store because I like fruity. I wondered about Nabeshima. It had a little ginjo aroma, but was light, easy to drink, and delicious.
100% Yuuzan-Nishiki I had this at the recommendation of the store owner. The aroma of green apple and the firm sweetness of the rice made me want to drink it again after a long time. It went well with oily fish. I would like to drink Kenkunichi as well!
I am a bad man who is too lenient with himself, thinking it's okay because it's the New Year, even though I have told myself it's not okay to drink during lunch on my day off from work. I found red sea cucumbers on sale at a fish shop and thought they would go well with sake, so I drank some. But it's a great combination of Kuniken and sea cucumbers!
Hanayu - Misato Nishiki
I personally love the sweetness that spreads on the palate, but I think it chooses the right dish. I am always looking for a sake that is like eating a fragrant melon... I hope I will be able to find it this year!
I bought it at a liquor store in Gotemba City... The description said it was like Muscat, but it was more like a light Cabernet Sauvignon, with the umami of rice far away and not distracting from the food. It was my first time to try this sake and I would like to try many other kinds of sake.
This was my first time drinking Miyamanishiki, a sake from Kyoto. It has a banana-like richness, but the flavor of the rice is very strong. I had it with some oily sashimi, and the pairing was excellent.
