Thank you for your comment as well. Fukushima Prefecture is a place that holds many memories for me, as I was there for 3 years working for the reconstruction right after the earthquake, and I am happy to be able to drink sake from the area.
Since it is only a 29% rice core sake, I thought it would be a classy sake, but it has a good taste of rice, sweetness, and moderate acidity, this is delicious. It was similar to the feeling I had when I drank Hana Yuu.
The description says it is a sake with a first taste, sweetness of rice, moderate acidity, and gentle warmth, and it is true. And it has an alcohol content of 13 degrees Celsius. Thickness like funaguchi.
It is said that Yamahai is drunk cold, so it certainly has a fresh feeling, as if it were freshly squeezed. It tastes even better when it is cooled down to a crisp!
Izumihashi Junmai sake that goes well with meat. I bought it at Super Lopia because it was 2022 and cheap. It has a strong yellowish color and high acidity but it was delicious with the fatty taste of meat ✨.
I was curious to buy a bottle of freshly squeezed new sake from a local Yamanashi sake brewery as part of OGINOSELECT at the OGINO supermarket in Yamanashi. The sweetness of the rice combined with the umami flavor makes it a perfect match for any dish. I want to eat this with Koshu beef!
