The fizziness and acidity combine to make for a refreshing drink. It has a wonderful presence of deep umami. I was impressed by the surprisingly good compatibility when paired with bacon asparagus. I think it would go well with meat, etc.

Saga Prefecture Koueikiku Shuzo Koueikiku Twilight Orange Unfiltered Nama-shu 2022 The 2022 Dusk Orange was stored in ice temperature by the brewery. The characteristic citrus aroma of Koueikiku is still present. I felt that the sushwakiness had calmed down a bit. It is amazing that it retains so much of its character even after being stored.

Fukushima Prefecture Oki Daikichi Honten Raku Masamune Nakadori offdry Probably the sake that got me hooked on sake. It is one of the driest sake in the Musical Instrument Masamune lineup. It still has the faint gassy feeling that is typical of Musical Instrument Masamune. The taste is clear and sweet in the mouth, and gradually tight and clean. It is outstanding.
