I had heard about the Mixseed series, a concept and challenge by the young brewers of Mutsu Hachisen, but this is the first time I have had it.
The proprietress of a sake store in Towada City recommended it to me, and that is how I came to buy it. It is very light at 7% alcohol, and as the concept suggests, it is fruity with a pleasant acidity and a crisp finish.
It is delicious.

I'm very grateful to the sake store in Towada City for keeping the November 2024 draft sake in cold storage. It seems that this year's freshly pressed sake will be available soon, but I wasn't sure if I would be able to buy it, so I bought it on impulse. It has been a while since I have had freshly pressed sake, but it is as delicious as ever! The freshness and the aftertaste of the rice flavor that comes after the rush of the rice flavor make this a sake that you have to buy if you see it.

I was able to have a cold wholesale Hououomida again this year. I like the deep flavor, which is slightly different from my image of Hououmida's gorgeous atmosphere. My favorite flavor this year is to drink it on the rocks while the ice is slowly melting, rather than drinking it cold as usual.
I recommend purchasing it in 1.5 liter bottles.

This is the first time I have had Hagi no Tsuru.
The aroma is gorgeous, like grapefruit. The taste is sweet with a big kick.
I thought it might be good to drink it on the rocks in the hot summer. We immediately tried it on the rocks, and it was great!
The sweetness was softened and it went down smoothly and quickly. It was delicious!
