lovely pineapple and vanilla notes. Ricey umami. Hint of bitterness in the finish. On day2 even better with increased sweetness and less bitterness. Juicy sweet peach and pineapple notes. Incredible balance. Top class sake. 4.50/5

Slightly higher acidity than the standard releases. It is bubbly, has a soft sweetness, citrus fruit notes and umami. Relatively low ABV at 13%. Great summer sake but considering the price tag (¥3800) I think I’d prefer to buy the regular Yamada-Nishiki releases. 4.00/5
