Mie Sake Enjoyment Party (3)
The booth of Iseman & Okagesama Co.
I have never seen this brand in Osaka. That's no wonder, as they do not sell their products outside of Ise-Shima.
The brewery originally made shochu (distilled spirit), and now they also make whiskey and gin by utilizing their distilling technology, but the amount of sake they make is very small.
The brewery is located on the OHARAIMACHI street of the Inner Shrine of Ise, and tastings are available. Whisky and other spirits are made at the head office in Ise City.
◉Okagesama Junmai Ginjo Kami no Ho
A very good sake, with a rich, sweet rice flavor and a lingering bitter and astringent finish.
◉Okagesama Daiginjo
A little dry. The taste is quite refreshing, with a slight bitterness on the finish.
◉Okagesama Junmai Daiginjo
The aroma is gorgeous and the taste is sweet and sour. This is my favorite type.
I remember that bouken-san had been to the brewery before.
When I told him that I came from Osaka, he was surprised and told me a lot of stories, so I decided to go with that strategy.
Hi Nemuchi 😃
I drank it at a national sake fair and it's Junmai Daiginjo 😋If you go to the brewery, you can sample the raw sake that's available for reservation 😁.
It's high in alcohol content but quite sweet 😊.
Hello bouken, you drank at the ☀Kura and Kokusyu Sake Fair 😊I'm sure you won a lot of awards and I'm sure you have the right skills 😉 I'll definitely stop by when I visit Ise Jingu 😆.
I received this as a souvenir from a pilgrimage to Ise.
It has a strong rice flavor and a refreshing aftertaste. It is delicious.
Okagesama Junmai Daiginjo
Iseman(Ise City, Mie Prefecture)
A colleague of mine brought in this sake. It seems to be a rare sake that is only available through regular purchase.
It has a fresh aroma and is very clear and luxurious. I got the impression that it was carefully crafted with brewer's alcohol. It is perfect for my taste buds as well.
You can't take it home with you when you visit Ise, but I heard that you can drink it there, so I would definitely like to taste it again.
National Sake Fair 2025 Day 2 (11)
Mie 1)
Eiji-san went to the Aichi booth, so I'll start from here alone.
Iseman in Ise City
Rice polishing ratio 40%, Yamadanishiki 16%, Sake degree -3, Acidity 1.4
4760 yen
This sake has won various awards such as Kura Master and IWC.
It has a strong impression of sweetness rather than flamboyance. It is sweet and delicious.
The brewer was there and we talked about his visit to the brewery for New Year's. The tickets for the National Sake Fair were not selling as well as expected.
We also talked about how the tickets for the National Sake Fair were not selling as well as expected. He was a nice man and I remember talking with him about many other things.
After this, this person continued to serve us at the Mie booth.
The second Ise souvenir from my senpai.
Refreshing aroma, bitterness, and a hint of sweetness.
Thanks to this, I was able to finish the observation. Thank you very much.
It is an easy-drinking sake with a clear sense of rice.
You deliver this sake to the Ise Jingu Shrine, don't you?
I'm going to drink it to purify my body.
Visiting Ise with my wife's parents!
(We just went there last October 😅)
Geku shrine → Sarutahiko shrine → lunch at Ise Kaku Uchingu restaurant → around the inner shrine and back to the inn for my parents and to Ise Man for myself and my wife 😁.
This time, due to the space in our fridge (and budget), we only tasted the raw sake!
It was refreshing and delicious 😋😋😋.
Kami no Ho, is the name of sake rice. It is made in Mie Prefecture and seems to be rather limited to the region. The taste was milder than that of nama-shu, but full-flavored. It was a delicious sake.
