Oroku純米吟醸生酒

めぬI've had it several times but this is my first review. One star for Ouroku. You can only buy it at a liquor store authorized by the brewery. You have to bring coolant and a cooler bag with you to purchase. You have to have a history of purchasing several bottles to be able to purchase a multi-starred product... There are various rules and regulations that make it a complicated alcoholic beverage. There are several types of one-starred sake, and this one is made from a single variety of Yamada-Nishiki, I believe. The taste is delicious. It is dry but has a strong flavor. When you open the bottle, gas is released with a pop. I wonder if the bitterness that remains underneath is the gas. Again, it is a delicious sake.

めぬA gift from my mother-in-law in Niigata. It was labeled "Asif" (as if it were a peach). I heard it was the liquor store's top recommendation. When I drank it, I found it was indeed peachy. It was a bit like the peach wine I had previously received, but it was still sake. It is quite sweet but refreshing. I could drink it without a side dish. Personally, however, I prefer sake with a little more flavor.

めぬThe price is high for Yukino Kayasha, in the 1,800 yen range. Tasteful yet refreshing. It is not as sweet as one might expect. Nama-shu is good after all. It is gone in no time at all.

めぬSake that was given to me. It is a Junmai Daiginjo, even if it is a lit sake. The aroma is gorgeous. I don't remember much about it because it was gone so soon...

めぬI bought it because it was inexpensive (1,200 yen/720 ml) and it was mentioned that it was nigori (cloudy) but refreshing. When I opened it, I was surprised at the fizz. The moment I drank it, the carbonation was so strong that I could not taste it. The texture was like commercial amazake with a lot of solids. Once it settled down a little, it tasted like nigori sake. It is not that refreshing, but it is a sake that is easy to drink. I don't think it went well with tuna or salmon sashimi. Nigori sake is difficult to make.

めぬSweet and thick. This is the sake of Akita Prefecture South. Familiar taste. However, I've been drinking a lot of raw sake lately, so the aroma of fire-brewed sake is not enough... It would be ideal if it tasted a little more fruity. It tastes good, though.

めぬSogapere effice. This is the second bottle after Numérosis. It is a bit pricey. It tastes less like wine than Numérosis and more like sake. However, the fresh grape-like aroma is still there. The taste is more robust. It is dangerous to drink it so easily despite its 16% alcohol content. It is a pity that I don't remember much about it because we drank it with a lot of people and it was gone so quickly. PS: 20220408, opened the second bottle. I drank it again. Pleasant acidity. The second day, the acidity becomes stronger. It also has a caramelized taste. But it is delicious. It goes well with all kinds of food. Scallops and asagi no nuta, sashimi, motsu nabe, cheese, etc. Again, it was gone in no time at all.

めぬThis sake is only available in the winter season and is made to order and by reservation only. As usual, the label is very conscious and interesting. I served it in a Riedel sake glass that came as a free gift from Kaze no Mori. Pitchy and shiny. Nama-sake. Aromatic. Floral. Rich and sweet, but easy to drink. Delicious. The sweetness is enhanced by drinking it in a Pinot Noir glass. A glass is an amazing thing. I had it with Sake Sashimi, but it was not so good. The next day, I had it with fillet steak. It was sweeter than yesterday.

Oroku超 王祿 <春季限定>無濾過生原酒★★★純米原酒生酒無濾過

めぬThe three stars of Ohsachi. Freshly pressed spring-only new sake. While the regular version is aged before being shipped, this one is bottled freshly pressed. My first impression is that it has a more gorgeous fruit aroma than the regular version. When I drank it, it was dry as usual, and I could feel the characteristic bitterness, but when I swallowed it, it was not only the bitterness that remained on my tongue, but also the umami that enveloped it. It is not just a dry sake. It is still a delicious sake.

めぬI bought it at Hououmita because it was a nama-shu and it was less than 2500 yen. When I first opened the bottle, there was a fruity aroma, but it was like water. It is aluzoe, so it is hard. The aftertaste is still alcoholic. After a couple of days, the aroma is gone, and the bitterness of the alcohol comes out. It might be good to warm it up. According to the label notes, room temperature is recommended.

めぬInstant bubbly sensation when opened. The aroma is apple? Refreshing. It's refreshing, slightly sour, and full of flavor, but with a clean aftertaste. It goes with everything! I ate it with pickled yam and duck ham. I thought the duck ham, which has a very unique flavor, would not go well with it, but it did with a clean aftertaste. This is amazing!

めぬThis is a sake from Obuse Winery with an interesting label. First, when I put my nose to the glass, I smelled muscat, which I thought was white wine. But when I drank it, my first impression was that it was white wine! That was my first impression, but it was indeed sake. It has a strong rice flavor. However, it had a refreshing sourness and fruity taste. Good and interesting.

めぬRice and agave 01 doburoku. The newest sake brewery in Akita. I've always been fascinated by the name, and bought a bottle of doburoku. It costs 3,000 yen for a quart bottle, so you need to be enthusiastic. It tasted sweet, slightly fizzy, and mushy, and didn't go well with meals. It was a little too much for me. I thought it would be a bit too much, but when I drank it again after a day, it seemed to go well with sashimi. But I don't think I can drink it in quantity. It is a sake to be enjoyed little by little.

めぬSweet and bitter. Good aroma. My husband says it's like lychee or banana. It's bitter compared to freshly squeezed, but it's good. It's amazing that it's only 2000 yen.
