The sweetness and mild flavor of the rice can be fully appreciated. It is so mellow that it is hard to believe that it is "Gohyakumangoku". It seems to go well with Chinese food.
Highly recommended! A deep flavor that brings out the best of the rice to the fullest. When served cold, it has a hard bitter taste of rice, but as it warms up, its umami flavor permeates through. When it is at room temperature, it also has a sour taste. Goes well with rice crackers.
