This is the second in a series of ordered alcoholic beverages. I drank it to study it, as it is another brand of Kubiki Shuzo from the Koshiji-no-Kenbai series. What a surprise! This is delicious! After Shikishima, tkmts-san was drinking Ryujinmaru, and I wanted to try something of Takagaki-san's sake, so I chose Kirakuri. This time it was an unfiltered raw Nakadori. It has a caramelized taste with sweetness and a sense of maturity. It's just a coincidence that there is a succession of sakes with a sense of maturity, such as Washin, Shikishima, and Kirakuri.

I wanted to get Ryujinmaru, but they said it was not available now. They will sell it to anyone who comes to the store. I had it with cold sake. The color is clear and slightly yellow. The top aroma is of almonds, caramel, chocolate, and a little alcohol. The label on the back of the bottle says that it was fermented slowly and for a long time at a low temperature, so I guess it has an aged aroma. The taste is thick and voluminous with a grain-like flavor. There is also a good amount of acidity. There is an almond aroma that goes into the nose, an alcoholic aroma, and a guttural sake-like sensation in the throat. The alcohol content of 19 degrees comes later. This time I found this one on sale at the drugstore! My favorite Shizenigo! I was intrigued by the word "dry" and bought it. The aroma is apple-like, which is typical of Shizenigo. It has a fruity aroma even though it is a honjozo. The sweetness is moderate, and the bitter sourness comes through with a nice crispness. It is perfect as a mid-meal sake. It is a sake that accompanies and does not interfere with meals. I was impressed that such a sake is sold at drugstores! I realized once again the high level of Fukushima sake.
