Gagakuyo ~Gekka~ Nama Shu
Nama-zake's typical aroma and mango-y fruity flavor.
The mouthfeel is sweeter than usual Garakudai? But in the middle, it becomes dry and refreshing as usual! (Maybe it's calmer rather than fresher!)
Gagakuyo -Under the Snow
Aroma: Vinegar iso + Vinegar ethi (also smells like a cage).
Fine gas, slight sweetness, and a clean and beautiful impression.
Slightly sour aftertaste and a touch of alcohol? I think so 😉.
The dryness is noticeable due to the fact that it's lightly cloudy ‾☺️ seems like it would be good to pair with light dishes? I think it would be good with light dishes 🧐.
Mimuro-sugi Junmai Ginjo Unfiltered Nama-shu Oorigarami
The aroma is a beautiful vinegar iso & rhummy aroma! 🥰.
The taste has a hint of gas when the bottle is opened, but the elegant sweetness and the beautiful acidity in the aftertaste show their face and disappear...definitely the No.1 taste of the year! 😍😍
They used dewy leaf wind this year! As long as I don't know if this sake rice will be used next year, it will be a rare bottle! 🤩
Shinta Kachiyo [End].
The aroma has a strong cemedine smell (and green apple🍏 aroma!).
Fine gasiness, plus a good amount of sweet acidity! (Like the aroma, it has a 🍏 type of aroma!)
The aftertaste is like a carbonated soft drink thanks to the gasiness! 👍
Every time I drink the Cinta-Cachillo series, it's low al and easy to drink! 🥰
Urashinomine Junmai-Nigori-Sake Nama-Nagori-Sake
The aroma is mellow and sweet like the sake mother stage (yogurt?).
The taste is also sweet and sour, like the sake pressed from the sake mother! (like honey apple 🍯🍎?). However, it becomes dry after halfway through, so surprisingly, the heaviness does not remain!
Senkin Snowman
Strong gassy feeling when opened! & Origami smell!
As every year, a complex mouthfeel with a graininess and a hint of sweetness! The taste is very complex and sweet!
Surprisingly, it doesn't feel heavy due to the strong gas... The aftertaste is slightly bitter from the acidity! 🤭
One of the so called "three major nigori", I'm curious to see what others think of it!
Amami New Sake Junmai Ginjo Nigori Nama
The aroma is fresh and rummy! (plus a hint of orizumi)!
The sweetness is well balanced by a gaseous feel! (Moderately fruity and refreshing, easy to drink!)
I got the impression that the gasiness changed a lot between the first and second day of opening the bottle! I think it would be better to drink it all in one day 🧐.
Banshu Issen Junmai Shichihou Junmai Lees Tangle Nama
The aroma has a rather strong alcohol smell (plus the smell of cemedine).
The sweetness is rather strong, but the gasiness gives it a calm aftertaste! (The sweetness is melon-like and fruity! It is sweet, melon-like, and fruity!)
Last year was the exact opposite as the aroma was strong and the taste was clean! 😉 😉
Kankoubai Junmai Ginjo Nama
Slight banana aroma and alcohol smell.
Mild and smooth sweetness on the palate (just like the aroma, banana🍌)! (Banana 🍌 as the aroma suggests.) The impression is that the acidity comes out rather strongly in the middle, which seems to go well with meals. 🍽️🍶
This is a top-ranked sake at this year's sake competition! I'd like to try the other specs too 🥰🥰.
Shichibonjari Junmai Daiginjo Watabune
The aroma has a faint iso and yogurt smell 🍌🍦.
The taste has the same yogurt-like milkiness as the aroma, with just a hint of sweetness and a strong acidity. (There may also be a slight caramelized kogei taste!).
The aftertaste is quite sharp and clean! 😁.
Ichioshi-shi from the liquor store! I haven't had Watanosen use sake in a long time! I've not had it in a long time 🥰.
Haneya Junmai Ginjyo Tominokou
The aroma is a mixture of capsicum and vinegared etch (with a slight zing?).
Gorgeous on the palate, clean and beautiful in the middle! 😌
😌 There is a slight bitterness in the aftertaste, so you feel satisfied that you drank something! It also has a satisfying aftertaste! ☺️
Tominoko, this was the first time I heard of this sake rice! I've never heard of it before!
Oze no Yukidoke Junmai Daiginjo Hatsushibori
The aroma is a fruity mixture of pineapple and green apple!
The taste is just as gorgeous and fruity as the aroma! Rounded sweetness and a hint of acidity...elegant and beautiful! I'm not sure what to make of it 🤩.
Ryujin Shuzo is always ahead of the curve with their seasonal products, so I always buy their wines! I buy it every time 🥰.
Daimine: Winter's Edge
Aroma is vinegar iso type & strong cage smell 😊.
Sweetness is firm! The fine gasiness makes it drinkable without feeling heavy and refreshing! The aroma is like a vinegar iso type & strong smell of ori (rice cake). (Like the aroma, it has a strong koji taste, but it is easy to drink!)
The price of a four-pack bottle is almost 2,700 yen, while a one-pack is less than 4,000 yen... I think buying one-pack is the right choice!
Shinsei Ten Frog
It took quite a long time to open the bottle...(the longest ever?)
↑As you can see on the top, it has a solid gasiness! (Still, the sweetness and acidity are understandable! As the back label says, there is a mild and thick sweetness like honey in the aftertaste! 🍯)
No weight at all, so you can drink it nice and smooth! 🥰)
Thanks as always to the liquor store! 🙇
Hououmida Hatsu Shibori Junmai Ginjo-shu
As soon as the bottle is opened, the aroma is gorgeous with a strong cappuccino aroma 🍍.
The taste is as fruity and sweet as the aroma, with a pineapple-like fruity sweetness! 😍.
The taste is still a bit stiff, as is typical of new sake, but you can sense that the season has started 🥰🥰.
The first shibori is coming out so fast...I wonder when they will start making it 💦.
Iraka" Silver & Black (Birth Sake)
The aroma is that aroma typical of unfiltered raw sake (I won't say too much 🤭).
Mild sweetness and acidity, not as strong as the aroma! It has a strong but masked softness!
The much talked about sake, I finally got to buy it 🥰.
#sake #iraka
Togahama Junmai Ginjo Haikara
Aroma: Capricorn & yogurt smell 🍍 Sweetness is quite strong and fruity, like pineapple juice!
Sweetness is quite strong, fruity like pineapple juice!
Another brand of Tazake! (First product of the season?).
I'll try the monochrome one next time I'm somewhere! 👍
Ura-Gassan -Edge- Unfiltered unpasteurized sake
Aroma is quite subdued.
Beautiful sweetness of vinegared iso type spreading (unlike the raw one I bought last year, both aroma and taste are mild).
Banana + cool rummy sweetness with a clean aftertaste... I like it! 🥰
I bought the raw last year, so this time I tried the fire-roasted! I was surprised at the totally different taste! I was surprised at how different it tasted 🔥.
Tsukiyama innovation CITRUS
Aroma is of iso-vinegar type (🍌 + a hint of yogurt).
Mouthfeel is rather mild! When swallowed, it has a strong citric acidity. But it is not harsh because of the overall lightness of the beer! (Very easy to drink as you don't feel any alcohol at all).
I love the innovation series😍.
Tasake Junmai Ginjyo Kojono-Nishiki
The aroma is a gorgeous capsicum
Mouthfeel is pineapple with a little bit of acidity 🍍.
(Last year, I had the impression of a strong sweetness, but this season I have the impression of acidity.) ←This atmosphere may be the reason why the sharpness feels so good - beautiful 🤩.
I buy this every year for some reason - Tasake is a stable brand 🥰.
