Tokaido Sake Brewery Tour in Spring (3) The last one is Masterpiecea by Laughing Four Seasons. Masterpiece is a sake with the theme of technical study and a retrospective and return to classic ginjo, I tasted it at last year's sake brewery tour and enjoyed it so much that I left without buying it, which I regretted a lot ๐ง. This year, I was determined to bring it back! This year, I decided to bring it back! Masterpiece has A (Yamadanishiki) and Un (Watabune), and I decided to bring back A this time. The rice used is Gohyakumangoku. I bought it at the end of last year at an antenna store in Toyama. I didn't know about this brand. The color is a light amber. The palate is a rush of pleasantly intoxicating sweetness that overflows with fruity notes. The fresh acidity balances the fruity sweetness. While the fresh, bouncy, rich flavor is overwhelming, the rich umami of the rice flows with the sweetness, and the gasiness and acidity are light. The nose has a sweet, rich nuance with a slight hint of nail polish that gives it a cool impression. There is also a sense of umami core with a freshness. There is also a bitter tightness from the last part of the bottle, and the sharpness is not bad. The lingering aftertaste is long.
