A trip to visit a brewery. We went to Kurikoma, the hometown of the person who helped us. We visited our favorite brewery, Senda Sake Brewery in Okutsuru Kurikoma Mt. According to the young master, even weak drinkers can be satisfied, so we bought this one. We will drink it from now on.

The second drink at Marukoma was my first "Koshu". It is light and crisp with a pleasant lingering aftertaste. The second sake was "Koshu", which is also from Niigata but has a different flavor from the "Hokusetsu" that we drank for the first sake 🎵.

I was called to work in Tokyo. I don't like cities. The National Diet building is beautiful with gingko trees in full color. I was surprised that it didn't smell like ginkgo. It is as expected. I remember the last time I drank Miyaganbai, it was delicious 🤔. I knew there was a sake collaboration between my neighborhood liquor store and the Kanmei Brewery, but I put it off thinking I could always buy it. But it's plum season and I finally bought it (almost, coyly). Oyusaki Quartet I heard that the name "Uguisaki" is a play on Osaki, where the cold plum trees are located, or plum blossoms and bush warblers (Uguisu), and many other things! At first, you can taste a little sourness. It's just a little bit sour, but it's not too much. The sweetness is soft and lingers on the tongue. Maybe a little more refreshing than the Miyakanume I had before (not sure I remember that 😆). Fresh, fruity and a little different from the gentle sweetness of rice. It is also beautiful and delicious 😋. On the second day, it seems a little more sour. And sweetness too. As an added bonus, here's a picture of the plums
