This is also the Sasaki Sake Brewery in Kyoto, which I tried with one of the bottles available for order at the Co-op.
It is one of the breweries that I have been wanting to visit but have not yet been able to do so.
In December, when we eat a lot of Western food, I learned to pair softer sake with cheese, so I paired it with Camembert. I had a happy time with Yotsuba's solid Camembert.
We had it at room temperature, cold, and lukewarm. All were delicious. I think it would be good with a pizza with only cheese. I will give it a try.

The year is ending, so I have to declutter the refrigerated interior: ‼️
And so, I'm going to be brave and open the holy water that used to be so expensive.
The first one is this one.
It's been a long time since I've had an alcoholic high-grade sake!
It was delicious with a bowl of negitoro (negi toro-don) 🙏🏻🍶´-

Strong alcohol taste. Strong sweetness, with a considerable alcohol aftertaste.
Sweetness and spiciness typical of alsochu liqueur, and a chirpy sensation typical of the original.
To be honest, I don't like it...
Sasaki Shuzo is the family home of Kuranosuke Sasaki, a well-known sake brewer. It is soft and mildly mellow. In an age when sharpness is at an all-time high, this sake has a certain dignity.
Sake from Kyoto. To Hikaru Kimi...Sake made by the birthplace of Kuranosuke Sasaki, who is said to be Mahiro's husband. It is a refreshing and elegant sake that is typical of Kyoto. Goes well with firefly squid.
