At home. This is the first time I've had sake from Hokkaido. I thought that Hokkaido's sake was more alcoholic, but it was completely different. A Drink to Remember Series (5) In the early summer of 2015, I planned to take my car on a ferry to Wakkanai, Hokkaido, and when I arrived safely in Wakkanai, I had a drink at a yakitori restaurant for the first time in my life 🍶. The memory reminds me of the faint muscat-like aroma and sharp sharp sharpness 😋. The beauty of the label with the brand name, the wish behind the name "Fuyu Hanabi", and the taste of the local sake when you drink it on a trip...it was one of the reasons I became a sake lover 🎵. I still see it at Sake-no-wa from time to time, so I couldn't help but fish it out from old photos 😆. By the way, the picture was taken when I drank it with my family at the New Year's celebration after I returned from my trip. The first saké I had last time was a clear saké of Yumeginko from Bishu Kotobuki with No.7 yeast. It is a draft sake, but it was stored at room temperature at the store, so we served it as it was. Natsuta Fuyuzo works in the rice paddies in summer and in the warehouse in winter. This is my first time to try the KAME-NO-IO sake rice. 😃 It was very elegant, with a deep and delicate flavor. Plus, the mouthfeel is crisp and refreshing at the end of the drink 🙂 I paired it with grilled fish and it goes well😇. It's a lost one in my book 👍

They mainly have local Shizuoka sake, but they also have a lot of Omuraya sake from the famous Omuraya brewery, which is famous for Wakatake and Onna no Nyokase 🧐 This is the first time I've had anything from this brewery.
