1.8L, 3,600 yen, 18% alcohol by volume, 100% Aomori rice, 50% milled rice, Today we had Ando Suigun Junmai Ginjo Shiboritate from Ozaki Shuzo in Ajigasawa City, Aomori Prefecture. It is easily available at liquor stores in the Tsugaru region of Aomori Prefecture, but is rarely sold in the Nanbu region, so I was lucky enough to get it. When drunk chilled, it has a strong dry taste, but when drunk at room temperature, the dry taste is suppressed and the rice flavor is enhanced.

The fifth glass is Ando Suigun 🏴‍☠ Jungin Nama sake, but I already drank and posted this one in February, so I omitted it. The sixth and seventh cups are sake not for sale🍶. The yellow label is a 60% polished Hana Sayaka. Cold sake. The first aroma is sweet and sour like tropical fruits. In the mouth, it has a fruity sweet and sour taste that is not typical of Ando Suigun. The orange label is Hwasayaka 50% polished. Serve cold. The top aroma is slightly fruity. In the mouth, it has a fruity sweetness and a hint of sourness, although it is milder than the yellow label. I was too drunk to remember much of the story 😅I think they said that they did not intend to make this sake.... I heard that both bottles were blended to become other drinks, but I wish they would have sold them as normal 🙄. It was delicious ✨

The fourth glass is Ando Suigun 🏴‍☠ Yamahai Junmai. First, it was served cold. The first aroma is sweet with a hint of acidity. In the mouth, there is a complex umami and sweetness with a hint of acidity. It is a robust type of sake. I thought it would be good warmed up since it is a Yamahai sake, but it didn't warm up very well. Sake is difficult 🤔. It was delicious ✨

The third glass was Ando Suigun 🏴‍☠ special pure raw sake. First, a cold sake. The first aroma is slightly sweet. In the mouth, there is a slight acidity and a hint of rice sweetness. It is quite refreshing. Next, warmed sake. The first aroma is a hint of alcohol and grain. The mild acidity and sweetness of the rice swells in the mouth and gives a nice feeling. I think this was the best heated sake.

The second glass is Ando Suigun 🏴‍☠ Honjozo Dry. First, it was served cold. The first aroma is faintly sweet. In the mouth, there is a moderate sweetness and a slight umami taste of rice. It has a nice sharpness, as is typical of honjozo. Warm it up. The top aroma is a hint of grain. The sweetness expands on the palate. It is dry and crisp. It was delicious 🍶✨.

It will be a Junmai Daiginjo from Ando Suigun 🏴‍☠ 🍶. The proprietress bought it from the Ozaki Sake Brewery booth at the Aomori Sake Tasting event held last week in Aomori. The aroma on the nose is fruity, like apples. In the mouth, there is a slight astringent bitterness, followed by a rich sweetness and umami with a fruity overtone. It finishes with a slight bitter taste. Although this sake is not labeled as a pure sake, it has a robust flavor like an unfiltered pure sake, as if it has not been watered. The alcohol content is 17%. I have never had such a punchy daiginjo 😆. It was quite delicious 🍶✨.
