Gifu All-you-can-drink ① A business trip to Yamaguchi and then to Gifu the next day! Both of us have ongoing projects, so we go there regularly, but this pattern is rare! I made it into Gifu without too much delay, so we decided to go out for a drink. Work in Yamaguchi is still going on, but Gifu has come to an end. I may come here on a spot basis, but not at the rate of 2-4 times a month or so like before. So? Let's go 😁. Gifu all-you-can-drink local sake 🤣1 hour, 2000 yen! Isn't that cheap? I've had a lot of Gifu sake, but I haven't had it yet 😆. The first one is Kai Kai, stylish bottle 😘. I've been curious about this one, but haven't tried it yet! It's sweet and sour on the palate 😋. It goes smoothly, refreshing and soft. This is recommended to be served cold with snow, so on the rocks! It's low al and it's gone in a moment 🤣.

Shizuku-tori sake from my humble favorite, Ikumidoi-san. The aroma is gently fruity. It is berry-like with acidity. The mouthfeel is gentle, but the volume expands with both sweetness and dryness. It has a very beautiful structure with a disappearing aftertaste. A good sake for stand-alone drinking. I think it would also work well as a heated sake, perhaps because of the image of Ikumichii 👌.

It was purchased at the Aichi Sake Caravan during the Handa Canal Marche in Handa City on March 22. Forty brands of sake from breweries in Aichi, Gifu, Mie and Shizuoka were on sale. Attracted by the spring-only offerings, I purchased one of them, a sake from a brewery in Higashiura-cho on the Chita Peninsula. Ikumichii is read as Ikujii. It is dry and has a sharp taste on the nose, but it is mellow and easier to drink than I expected.

Purchased at Yokohama Takashimaya Rice used is Kame-no-o type Koshihikari produced in Kasama City The alcohol is a little strong, but the taste is smooth and not like an unfiltered draft. GW 4 days 3 nights with wife, 1,500km round trip🤣 We went on a Sanriku car trip 🙂. We stayed one night near Sendai and went to Sanriku. We had an ume (sea urchin) lunch box at Kuji station, and spent the second night in Miyako. Miyako's sake brewery, Hishiya Sake Brewery, Senryo Otokoyama. Seafood Cuisine at Murekou, a long-established bar that has been in business for over 45 years.
