Gifu All-you-can-drink ① A business trip to Yamaguchi and then to Gifu the next day! Both of us have ongoing projects, so we go there regularly, but this pattern is rare! I made it into Gifu without too much delay, so we decided to go out for a drink. Work in Yamaguchi is still going on, but Gifu has come to an end. I may come here on a spot basis, but not at the rate of 2-4 times a month or so like before. So? Let's go 😁. Gifu all-you-can-drink local sake 🤣1 hour, 2000 yen! Isn't that cheap? I've had a lot of Gifu sake, but I haven't had it yet 😆. The first one is Kai Kai, stylish bottle 😘. I've been curious about this one, but haven't tried it yet! It's sweet and sour on the palate 😋. It goes smoothly, refreshing and soft. This is recommended to be served cold with snow, so on the rocks! It's low al and it's gone in a moment 🤣.

This sake brewery is located along a road in the town of Yaotsu. Junmai sake is aged in the embankment of a dam. It has a mild taste with Junmai-like characteristics. It seems to have been quietly sleeping and has a calming flavor.

288 Nights Junmai Ginjo Tamakashiwa 100% Gohyakumangoku produced in Niigata Prefecture Polishing ratio 50%. Alcohol content 16%. Sake meter degree: +3.8, Acidity: 1.5 (reference) Fat: 7/25 (bottle opened 8/23) This sake won the Platinum Award in France in 2018, and I tasted and bought it during my business trip to Nagoya on 7/19! Origin of the name *From the label The name "Two Hundred Eighty-eight Nights" comes from the fact that it took Mr. Takakura 288 days from rice growing to sake brewing in 1999, and Mr. Uno, who inherited his will, brewed it faithfully according to his teachings. I didn't notice any particular aroma after opening the bottle, but it had a refreshing-like feeling. The refreshing taste on the palate reminds me of a beautifully dressed young lady in summer clothes with a crisp and refreshing mouthfeel 😍. It's dry, but you can also taste a hint of sweetness, which I think is what makes it so refreshing. The spiciness may be due to the 16% alcohol content. The spiciness comes in the second half when it goes down your throat 🤩. Delicious! On the 4th day of my trip to Osaka, I went to Osaka Expo Park (Tower of the Sun) 🤯 I got a taste of Taro Okamoto's world view 🤯. By the way, last week's horses also maintained great form 💪. I hope to win a lot of single bets on these less popular horses 🎯.

Drinking Gifu's Local Sake 2024 in Osaka㉓ Gifu's local sake booth. The brewery pursues "sake that goes well with food and that you never get tired of drinking. It was almost the end of the event, and some of the sake had already been sold out, but a unique label caught my eye. I had noticed it on Hirupeko's post and was wondering if it was sold at Haretoke, but I didn't realize I could drink it here... Mukashi no Mamma Special Junmai. The sourness and umami in the appleiness matched each other, and I was like, "Ummm.... Unlike the impression on the label, it is not so classical and easy to drink. I would have liked to try other Tamakashiwas.

The flavor is also gooey and pulls away with bitterness. When the temperature rises, the bitterness may be strong. After the Sake-no-Wa Kansai New Year's party, bouken-san and I stopped by our usual liquor store, and before we knew it, we had a bottle of this 👍. Tamakashiwa was a brand new to me and I didn't know it was Gifu sake💦. It tasted better when served cold with a quick drink ✨. 720 mL ¥ 1,680
