Tochigi sake featured in Hankyu Department Store's Traveling SAKE. It was not that spicy and easy to drink. It was different from the image I had in my mind. As the pop-up says, it is also surprisingly gorgeous. I guess because Tenryaka is made from organically grown rice, you can find it in natural food stores. The regular Amataka is particularly dry, and the organic series doesn't seem to be that dry.

Tochigi sake featured in Hankyu Department Store's Traveling SAKE. Nemuchi was hesitant to drink Tenryaka because it was dry, so I encouraged him to try Kuho Series, saying it was fruity. I have been avoiding Tenryaku until now. I was surprised to find that the sparingly spiced Kuo series is not spicy but rather sweet and delicious. I'm sorry I've been avoiding this sparring even if I saw it at a liquor store.

This time, I attended an inspection workshop 🚌 🚌. During lunch I want you to try the local sake I hope you will enjoy drinking and we were given this sake! We were served this sake! It was named after the first brewer who had a dream of a big hawk soaring in the sky when he stayed at a ryokan in Kyoto. I see... Now, a sip...delicious! The taste is elegant and refreshing! Mild and nice on the palate! Japanese Bento while eating! Sake is great to drink from noon 😋👌👌.

This sake is made by Amataka Shuzo in Otawara City, Tochigi Prefecture. It has a clear, lychee-like flavor. It is also very smooth and tasty.

Since we met Mr. and Mrs. J&N and Mr. Kotori in Utsunomiya at the end of last year, we have been following Tochigi this year! Shiobara, Kinugawa, and now Nasu! Instead of having dinner at the hotel, we decided to go to a place we were interested in! Without looking at the place carefully, we made a reservation at a restaurant in the forest about 30 minutes away by car. There were three kinds of sake: Ona, Tenaka, and Kyokko. I chose the Amataka! This is the first Tenryaka I've had this year. You can't say that you can feel the alkoze at all! It is described as dry, but it has just the right amount of rice flavor and is light and dry! We thought it would be poured into a glass, but it was served in a small bottle of 300ml! The first half was served cold, and the second half was served on the rocks with ice. Each dish was memorable! Tochigi sake is so deep! My daughter was asked to drive me back to the hotel, and after we arrived at the hotel, everyone, including my wife, fell asleep while talking about the fun dinner!
