I found and purchased it at a souvenir shop at Zenkoji Temple. After purchasing it, I spoke with the owner of a standing bar in front of Nagano Station that specializes in sake, and he said he was being ripped off. Please be careful everyone.
It wasn't that expensive, though, and it was very tasty, so I was totally satisfied and drank it up immediately.
It is refreshing yet fruity, slightly effervescent, and very easy to drink. I think I understand why it is so popular.
I am not sure if it is the same place (but there is one souvenir store in Nakamise that sells a lot of sake), but I was kind of taken by it. If you are looking for Shinshu Kamerei, you could buy it at Aonuma Shoten near the prefectural office for a fixed price.
We had a bottle of Junmai Ginjo Yamadanishiki Unfiltered Nama-shu from Shinshu Kamerei.
I went to Okazaki Shuzo in Ueda City the other day and was able to buy several bottles, so I will go ahead and drink the sake I had in stock.
This Junmai Ginjo Yamadanishiki is another bottle that I remember purchasing on my first visit to Okazaki Shuzo a few months ago.
Personally, I don't find Shinshu Kamerei to have a particularly distinctive flavor, so when I first tried it, I thought it was certainly delicious, but honestly not enough to get me hooked!
However, as I drank two or three bottles, I gradually realized that it had a taste that could not be replaced by anything else, and I became a fan enough to go to Ueda to buy it.
This was my second bottle of Junmai Ginjo Yamadanishiki, and perhaps it was the special feeling of having gone to the brewery to buy it, but it tasted even better than the first.
Shinshu Kamerei is not a distinctive flavor, but it has a neat, clean, and graceful image. It is a sake that I rarely have a chance to encounter, but if I have a chance to buy it in the future, I will definitely buy it.

A sweet mouthfeel with a hint of pineapple. Strong lingering bitterness and alcohol.

The aroma is fresh and sweet, similar to that of rum, and the mouthfeel is slightly gassy, with a shift from umami to sweetness and a touch of bitterness in the background.

The aroma is fresh and sweet, similar to that of ramune, and the mouthfeel shifts from juicy umami to sweetness before it finishes with a pleasantly sweet aftertaste.
Compared to the nama-shu version, the freshness of the nama-shu is gone, but the taste is more subdued 🤔.
The entrée was sashimi from a fish shop a short distance away and Wakayama Prefecture's tuna Nakatoro Sashimi (medium fatty tuna) 😋.
It's a great place to get fresh local fish and Wakayama tuna at a reasonable price, but it's far away 😅.
The fourth one is a four-spice curry platter from Spice Tarte Masca, as I felt a lack of spice.
