Purchased at the Okazaki Shuzo Sake Brewery in Ueda City.
Hitogochochi grown in terraced rice paddies in Inakura, Ueda City, selected as one of the "100 best terraced rice paddies in Japan.
We enjoyed its fresh taste.

became a curse 🤣 and we headed to a standing bar near Nagano station again.
I looked at the showcase and saw a golden turtle label! Wow, it's a Kinmon-nishiki gold tortoise! So I had some. It was a small amount, so it was gone in no time, but it was rich and delicious. It is different from the Yamadanishiki. I like them both😍.
We also drank an early batch of Yamazan and a Junmai Daiginjo from Toyoka. I'm still drinking 😆.

I was planning to go to Ueda City, so I went to the city.
There I found a sake brewery. Kamerei?
Kamerei in Nagano means Shinshu Kamerei?
I immediately jumped in and found it was also Shinshu Kamerei. There was a sake brewery in Ueda City, wasn't there? I am ashamed to say that I had never heard of the Okazaki Sake Brewery before. One bottle per person, only this brand was sold, but I bought it without hesitation. They accept cash, credit card, and PayPay. I immediately put them in a cool bag.
The hi-ire version is only available at the brewery. The aroma is restrained, as is typical of hi-ire.
It has a chili sensation when you put it in your mouth. It is easy to drink, with a smooth sweetness and a little astringent acidity.
It is fresh despite being fire-brewed, which is typical of Shinshu Kamerei.
It may lack impact, but it is a well-balanced sake.
I felt like I got a good deal because I could buy a Shinshu Kamerei without aiming for it!

The aroma is similar to that of the packing slip, with a greater proportion of freshness than creaminess.
The taste is still fresh and sweet. The origin of the freshness may be the sharpness that moderately eliminates the lingering aftertaste.
This sharpness also differs from acidity. It is true that a moderate acidity is also effective, but it is not the only sensation.
I have always wondered what the slight bubbling sensation on the tip of the tongue is in hi-ire sake. Why do I feel this when the sake is not raw, and why is it not twice-hikkaizu but once-hikkaizu? These are questions that are common to the sake that I sometimes find tasty.
As I mentioned above, there seems to be a difference in the way the sweetness stands out in the flavor compared to Kamo Nishiki, which is a Niigata limited edition. The sweetness of Kamonishiki spreads out softly and horizontally, while the sweetness of Kamonishiki stands out more like a vertical ellipse.
It has gone on for a long time, but to be honest, you don't need any snacks just for this. Personally, I don't think it is a food sake. However, the good thing is that it can be enjoyed in a completely different genre than a food sake.
I feel like I'm going to lose it today.

I don't often go to the liquor store on weekdays these days, but I happened to go there a while ago and saw that it was in stock today!

I went back home by car, but I got a flat tire when I was on my way home, and the dealer was closed for GW vacations, so I couldn't make it back to Kanazawa in time to catch the Shinkansen and Thunderbird 😅.
And worst of all, just as I was waiting for the Thunderbird at Shin-Osaka, it was delayed by a suspicious object at Kyoto station😵😵😵😵 2 hours late and I managed to get home😳😳😳😳
Relaxing at home all day today~☺️

I was taken to an izakaya with sake, but I didn't bring a bottle, so no pictures.
It must have been quite crowded.
The grated pork cutlet was delicious (^^)
