The first sip is lightly sweet and apple-like with no aftertaste.
The second sip has a spicy taste that lingers on the tongue and back of the throat.

Shinshu Kamerei Junmai Sake Hitogokochi
It has been a long time since we have had Shinshu Kamerei. I used to be able to buy it consistently at my local liquor store, but I really don't see it anymore. This regular sake was also promoted from the regular shelf where it used to be placed to the middle of the main fridge? I was able to find it in the middle of the main fridge.
It has a sweet melon-like aroma. It has a strong, fruity sweetness and umami. The aftertaste is smooth and disappears quickly. The taste is modern and easy to drink, exactly what is popular nowadays.

It's been a while since I've had Hitogokochi from Shinshu Kamerei: ‼️
Refreshing aroma of rummy type.
It has a light gassy feeling on the palate.
It has a sugary sweetness like cider, and a crisp, fresh taste. The sharpness is more astringent than bitter.
The lingering aftertaste is a little bitter and irritating to the tongue for a long time, so even if it is sweet, it is still drinkable 👌

I drank it a long time ago, so I forgot a lot of things.

It was a business trip to Shizuoka City. A small izakaya called Kikudokoro. They have a rare selection of sake and most importantly, the food is delicious😋.
They had Shinshu Kamerei, so I had to try it. It is fire-aged, so it lacks richness, but it has just the right amount of schwarziness and refreshing sweetness and acidity. It goes down well.

It's been a while since we had a drinking party with our seniors who are wonderful sake drinkers 😇.
Each of us brought a bottle of sake to drink with everyone 😀.
We were worried about which sake to bring so that we wouldn't get the same one as the others 🤣.
Since Kaorin and I are participating in this party, we have to choose 2 bottles of sake...what is good and what should we bring so that we don't share the same sake with others😅.
I decided to start with a bottle of sake that is typical of our family, a Ueda limited edition sake from Shinshu🐢 😀.
I totally chose it based on my own taste 🤣.
