Drinking outside 🎵 Participating in a paid tasting at a liquor store ①. First up was a special sake, Hana-yoso, which is not on the tasting list. Just as well since it's not easy to buy these days😍. Fruity and delicious 😋.

Good evening, Ao! The paid tasting sounds like fun 🎵. And you know a good liquor store to let us drink something that is not on the list: ⤴️ Hahoyo is one of my favorite sakes to try someday 😊.

Good evening, Ao-chan 🌛. I visited Oyama-san the other day while strolling in Kyoto 😁. My faint hope that there might be a "Hana-yosu" was dashed, but I gave up after wondering for a while whether to buy the "Ganki Sparkling" 🤣.

Tasting at Liquor Shop Okayama (3) Hyakuban, which I drank before and enjoyed? The moderate bitterness afterward from the lactic acid system was impressive.

Good evening, Mr. Bouken. It's hard to explain with my stupid tongue, but when I put it in my mouth, it was lactic acid? It was like a yogurt type. I drank it at the previous tasting, but I wonder if the label color is different. I'll be with you next time, Mr. Okayama!

Drinking outside 🎵 Today, I attended the "Japanese sweets and local sake pairing tasting" at a local liquor store in my neighborhood 😦. I attended the sake tasting at a local sake shop in my neighborhood 😁. The sake that left the biggest impression on me was the Kenryo! I had the sake at room temperature, a little cold and heated 😁. The heated sake was more spicy and tasted better than the cold one! The cold one tasted like caramel with a whiskey-like color. I think wagashi and sake go well together, but personally, wagashi is more of a dessert, so it's hard to have it at home. I personally felt that sweeter sake would go better with the wagashi from Tsuruya Yoshinobu, a long-established Kyoto-based company. Sake tasting is a great way to drink sake that is usually hard to buy and to enjoy talking about sake with people you have never met before 😁. Thank you, Mr. Okayama 🙏.

I had a few drinks at the Gion Festival BAR at Liquor Shop Okayama after the Gion Festival and it was the most delicious and most expensive sake. It was the most expensive and tastiest sake. It has a strong acidity and is quite sweet and sour. It also has a Bodhi yeast-like flavor. The second half has a strong astringent taste. I don't dislike it, but I think it is a sake for different tastes. When I bought it, the shopkeeper asked me if it was OK that it was different from regular sake. It's true that it is a little different from normal sake. I think this liquor store is well known as a special distributor of Hana-yoku, but they also have a wide variety of Shizuoka sake. They have Kaiun, Eikun, Morimoto, Haginishiki, Takasago, Fujimasa, Hajiro, and other brands that you can't find anywhere else! Outside of Shizuoka, there are Amanoto, Kahayo, Oze no Yukidoke, Ajigasawa, Shichirobei, Mansaku no Hana, Yukihikozan, Chiyodagura, Ganki, Daito, Hyakuban, Kunitake, Kamikigen, Tokigen, Youho, Furoisen, Kenryo, Biyo, Minami, Yukino Kasa, Hagi no Tsuru, Kawakame, Tsuki no Wa, Hagino Dew, Manjusen, etc.

Today is the Gion Festival in Kyoto. I went for a walk to see the floats (the one in the photo is called "Hakodani-boko")! On the way home, I went to the Gion Matsuri Bar, or Kaku-uchi (corner bar), at the sake shop where I sometimes buy sake. I had a lot of drinks! We drank a lot of different kinds of sake, but I had a bottle of Kamikimoto's sake that won a gold medal at the National New Sake Competition! This price for a bottle 😱 Delicious👌.

I went in there with the intention of buying Takasago and Furoisen, but they had Hana-yosu! I gave up on Furozumi and bought this one in a hurry. Liquor Shop Okayama in Kyoto. It's subtly far from any station. I often walk from Omiya station or Takimoto station while visiting Takimoto. I think the other nearest station is Karasuma-Oike station. It might be a good idea to walk from Nijo station to Sanjo-kai shopping street. The store here, HANA-YOSU, is always on SNS, but it was not posted at the time I bought it. I was surprised because it was my first time, but I guess they have guerrilla sales. I was lucky to be able to buy it because it was only available in one bottle. For some reason, the store has a lot of Shizuoka sake, including Kaiun, Suginishiki, Haginishiki, Morimoto, and Takasago. They have a lot more than just Shizuoka sake, though. Omachi and Yamada Nishiki. The aroma is the same as usual, but the taste is a little more refreshing than the usual Hana-yosu. It is sweet but not too sweet. The bitterness is stronger in the latter half. I think the sweetness is more pronounced at near room temperature than at room temperature. I thought it would be popular with those who don't like hana-yosu, but would be disapproved of by those who like regular hana-yosu. It's definitely delicious, though. It's a gentle sweet type, not like a gory sweet flavor type. It feels very sweet after a spicy sake.

It is not Takasago of Jikin, but Fuji-Takasago Brewery in Shizuoka. It is not the Takasago Brewery of Kokushi Musou either😅. It doesn't say it, but it is said to be a draft sake. I've noticed that many of the sake breweries here don't even mention that the sake is unpasteurized, only that it needs to be refrigerated... I was expecting a gaseous feeling because it is directly pumped, but it is calm. It has a sweet and spicy flavor with a touch of tanginess at the end. The word "soft, soft, smooth" fits perfectly with the description. Out of all the Takasago's I've had so far, this one tastes the most like Shizuoka sake. I felt like it would go well with the Italian peach flavor of Bourbon's Fitcine gummies🤣. I went there with the intention of buying this sake and Furoizumi, but I gave up on Furoizumi because I didn't expect to find this sake in the line!

I went to buy it after seeing the information about the arrival of the liquor store in Kyoto. I was just in Kyoto at the right time, so I was able to buy it in plenty of time, but I've had a few near misses here and couldn't buy it. It was my first time to try Hachitanshiki. It has a gorgeous aroma and a beautiful sweetness. I think it's one of the most elegant Hanayoi I've ever had.

The purchase condition for Hanayo-Yoku was to purchase sake over 1700 yen, but the sake I wanted was either under 1700 yen or over 2000 yen, so I chose this one. The rice is from Honefuji. Higashiyama Shuzo is an affiliated company of Kizakura and it is sold at the direct sales of Kizakura. It has almost no aroma, but it's surprisingly fruity in the mouth. It's not super sweet, but it has a little bit of a pinaphone nuance to it. It's a bargain.
