Genmai, aged in the company refrigerator. I finally opened a bottle that I got at the last Genmai Festival in Seibu Ikebukuro. When I drank it with trepidation, I was relieved to find that it had a strong pineapple aroma. There is also a slightly aged aroma. Almost no gasiness. The sweet, sour, and bitter flavors come on top of each other in a rush. This is what Genshuu is all about, but it's not really my specialty. The second half is mostly bitter. The alcohol taste is also strong. The bitterness lingers in the aftertaste, with a hint of rice at the end. It is a gorgeous sake with a strong punch. I would prefer it to be a little easier to drink.
