I was able to buy a bottle of this new product released in 2025 from my favorite company, Kangiku, so I opened the bottle immediately. Kangiku Meizo Hazy Moon-2025 Junmai Daiginjo Oorigarami A bottle made from Fukuoka Prefecture's Jugemu rice suitable for sake brewing! The father is Yamada-Nishiki and the mother is Yume-Ichikyo, a crossbreed of sake rice that is commonly grown in the Kyushu region. The taste was well-balanced with a beautiful sweetness, a refreshingly smooth acidity, and a moderate bitterness! Among the Kangiku series, I had the impression that the lingering acidity was particularly enjoyable for a long time! It is so delicious that we hope it will become an annual staple!

Abe Takananishiki Junmai Ginjo We were excited to open the bottle because we had not been able to drink it because it was always sold out quickly. It has a fruity aroma and a sweet flavor! It is a beautiful sake with just the right amount of acidity to make it easy to drink!

My favorite Aiyama season is almost over. Since I can't miss Kangiku's Aizan 50 every year, I opened a bottle as soon as I bought it! This year, I was under the impression that it had a refreshingly hard taste, but it was delicious and enjoyable! It might have been better if I let it sit for a while.

The last one I had at a New Lebanese restaurant I went to with a junior colleague from Akita, Muchu Tensho Tencho. This was the fourth cup I had, and it went perfectly with the yakitori at New Lebanya! It was sweet and tasty, yet had a sharpness that complemented the dish! I'm sure everyone would love it, but when I looked it up on the internet, it was 11,000 yen per bottle.., It's not a casual drink, but it's perfect for rewarding yourself!

My junior colleague from Akita said he had never had Shinsei, so we came to New Levaya, where we could drink it easily near our workplace. The third bottle was Jyushidai Honmaru! At other restaurants, you have to pay more than 1,000 yen for half a bottle, but here it was reasonably priced at only 690 yen! It was a perfect match for the excellent yakitori!

I had not had this one since the year before last at an event, so I really wanted to try it! It was one of my favorites, and I think it was one of the best tastes in Colors!

Houou Mita's new initiative! The first project to revive 3 generations of sake rice from the Meiji Era is "Aikoku Houou Mita Bida Aikoku Junmai Ginjo A bottle with a clear, dry taste, but with a sourness and lingering aftertaste that I like! I wonder if the second and third stages will be Kame-no-o and Shinriki? I am looking forward to this project!
