One cup purchased at Niigata Station.
It is a good sake with a strong spiciness, as is typical of Uonuma sake.
A portion of the proceeds is donated to the Committee for the Prevention of Mountain Disasters, a manly snow man.
Tonight's cup: Kangiku Meijo, Yamatake City, Chiba
Aizan 50 Red Diamond Junmai Daiginjo
It seems to be a very limited pure sake brewed only once a year, and the sweetness without spiciness is very satisfying.
Tonight's cup: Akita Yokote Hinomaru Brewery
Mansaku no Hana Aikame Label Junmai Ginjyo Ippatsu Hi-ire Genshu
A special bottle brewed with Aizan and Kame-no-o in the same tank.
The sweetness comes with a punch, followed by a touch of astringency.
Tonight's cup of junmai ginjo, Izumigawa from Hiroki Shuzo Honten in Aizu, Fukushima Prefecture. The parent brand of Hiyoroki, Izumikawa is a dry sake, but the fruitiness of junmai ginjo comes through later.
Thanks for the good sake. It is delicious.
Tonight's Sake: Shibotan Shuzo, Kochi Prefecture
Funaka Hachisaku Junmai Sake Super Dry
The spiciness of this sake is perfect for fish dishes.
Don't underestimate the drinking town of Kochi.
Tonight's Sake: Hakusan Kurumada Shuzo, Ishikawa Prefecture
Tengumai Yamahai Junmai Daiginjo
The aroma of ginjo-shu and the delicious taste of rice gradually come to you.
Tonight's Drink
Nyozora Junmai Ginjo "White Bear" from Gotoh, Aomori
Sake from Sanriku Gotoh meets Sanriku's Akinomisaki fish at our house.
It is a refreshingly spicy, fruity and delicious sake!
If you are told that there are only 100 bottles available at a sake store near Kanazawa Station, you have no choice but to buy it. It has a crisp and spicy flavor that is not typical of daiginjo.
The owner was right! It was delicious.
