It is sweet on the palate, or so I thought for a moment, but then it just snapped. It is a type of junmai sake that I have not had very often and it is quite delicious☺️.

Kirakucho is one of the famous brands in Shiga.
I opened the bottle with high expectations for this special junmai. It has a full-bodied mouthfeel with a sharp and spicy aftertaste. It is quite tasty☺️This is the kind of thing you always want to keep in stock at room temperature!

Purchased in Karuizawa.
What stood out on display at a liquor store in the Kyu-Karuizawa Ginza-dori shopping street was Daishinshu and Masumi. After much deliberation, I decided to take Masumi back home with me (jackets).
A 300 ml bottle chilled in the liquor store's refrigerator. Expectations were high. I went home and opened the bottle. The taste was...Junmai Daiginjo, polished to 40.5%, which I thought would be gorgeous, but it was quite refreshing. The aroma was floral and floral, but the taste was refreshing and contrasting. It was the first time in a long time that I had this type of sake, but it was okay with the aftertaste of the trip ☺️, but personally I was expecting something a little more fruity...! LOL!

This sake has a special junmai-like simplicity with a gradual umami taste. I don't feel that much of the characteristics, but that's good.
I'm happy to find a sake from a brewery that is probably not so well-known ☺️.
I enjoy a variety of sake from Shiga Prefecture 😏.

The taste is simple, just like special junmai. Some days that's good. It goes well with meals.
I have a lot of sake from Shiga, so I hope to eventually conquer all of the sake breweries.

I still love Miyazumi😌.
It's just exquisite. Not too sweet, fragrant and elegant, with a fruity taste. It is fresh, but the freshness is not overpowering. I love it.
I see that "Fukunoka" is a recent variety of sake rice from Fukushima. I'm sure it's Miyazumi so anything can taste good lol, but Fukunoka is supposed to be good too! I'll have to check it out 😏.

Grape image is no longer a sparkling wine... but when I drank it, it was sweet! The light nigori (slight cloudy taste) again tangled on my tongue and it tasted so rich! Is it really sake? It was so juicy that I doubted if it was really sake. The gas is also thick, so it's no wonder it's known as "adult fanta grape" 😂.
No wonder it's so popular, it's so drinkable and delicious. Makes me want to keep following the Takachiyo series...

I'm a fan of Kaze no Mori ☺️Everything I get has an elegant sweetness and just the right amount of gas, and it sticks with me to the point where I wonder if it's okay to drink such a big gulp of sake. I always open a bottle and finish it as soon as possible 🥺.
This time it was ALPHA 1. It's supposed to be 12% low alcohol, but a few percent can make it even easier to drink. For me, I would have liked to see a little more sake-like flavor, but this is already a juice. It's not too sweet. The secret is that it's just the right amount of lightness to keep you going. I love it.

The longed-for 寫樂!
Just when I thought it would be impossible to get this sake since it is a sake brewery that doesn't sell on the internet, I got it just in time for a limited sale! I was so happy I was shaking...
I knew I would like it, and I did. It is an orthodox sake, but it doesn't end there. But it doesn't end there. It has a certain richness and sharpness that makes you want to have another and another. I like it without question. Basically, I like to drink sweet sake with gas especially in the summer, but I always want to drink this kind of solid sake.
I want to drink other 寫樂 too. It's just too hard to find them...

I've become a serious sake drinker and I used to love the slightly cloudy sake I used to drink... I think you must be talking about this ORIGARAMI. I think it's a refreshing sake, but the ogara-mi is also juicy and sweet on the tongue 😋. It's a melon soda for adults. It's just too good to drink in the summer.
I also quite like sake that veers off in this direction!

We finally got our hands on a bottle of the famously hard-to-find "Tobiroki"!
I wanted to taste it for myself, so I fought hard to get my hands on a bottle.
The tasting was...
The ginjo aroma that rises from the bottle is very elegant. The body is more orthodox than I had imagined, but it is also sweet and full, giving the impression of being well-balanced and honorable.
I had expected it to be a bit more unique, so I was a bit disappointed, but I strongly felt its identity as a sake! I felt a strong sense of identity.
However, I am not sure if I will join the competition in the future... 🤔.
I'm curious to know how everyone else evaluates it, since it's so rare 😂.

The jackets are cool, but so is the taste!!!
On the back of the label, it says something like, "You can enjoy the story of the flavor after pouring it into the glass, and the various flavor transitions and expansions as the temperature of the sake changes. The flavor after pouring, the mellowness as it approaches room temperature, the lingering aroma in the glass... it really has a story to tell. I also enjoyed the changes in flavor over time after opening the bottle.
Fruity, but not sweet. I love this balance too much! Anyway, it really stuck with me. I would like to have other Houou Mita as well.

I got a rare sake... ！！！！
Aizu Miyazumi from 寫樂寫樂's Miyazumi Meizou brewery... and it's Watarifune No. 2... the kind you don't see around here! I was lucky enough to purchase it 🥺.
I really like the taste too much. It's a modern fruity sake, but not in any way sweet, aromatic and fruity, yet refreshing. It is too exquisite. The balance between the two is really great. The slight bubbling also adds to the greatness of the wine.
I have yet to encounter 寫樂, so I can't wait to get my hands on some 寫樂 as well.
But my favorite sake has been updated... Kaze no Mori and Aizu Miyazumi are my two favorites so far. Maybe I like Niimasa too, I'd like to meet it soon 🥺 What is it, I'm sure I like fruity sake, but do I like the fruity ones that are more dry? I don't know, I'm still a newbie!
But what is clear is that Aizu Miyazumi is the best ！！！！！

I thought I was going to get a "kerfuffle" after drinking so much, but it's 19 degrees alcohol! I read the description carefully and found out that it is recommended to drink it on the rocks. I've already drank a lot of it straight and it's delicious, so it's perfectly fine straight 😏 I now understand that that's what a sake should be like.
I am glad that it is 300ml. I bought the Ofuku Masamune drinking comparison set, so I'm looking forward to the other two!
The taste is quite robust but not difficult to drink, and the flavor is deep. I personally prefer something a little more fruity, but I like this more robust type as well because it gives me the feeling of enjoying sake!

I'm sure many of you don't know about S.tokyo, brewed by the Nakazawa Sake Brewery in Tanzawa, Kanagawa Prefecture.
It should be better known, it's high quality, and the bottles are so stylish! I was surprised.
As someone who currently lives in Kanagawa Prefecture, which is not exactly a rice-producing area, and I have never heard of sake being good, I honestly did not have such high expectations. But I bought it because the package was cute 😍 and it was a collaboration with JR Tokai.
Brewed with the second oldest sake yeast in existence, the taste is indeed unique. It has an acidity that is refreshing and light. Yet, the sweetness is firm. Is such a balance possible? It's a balance of acidity and sweetness that just keeps going and going! It is also nice that there is a slight effervescence.
On the second day, the acidity settles down and it becomes easier to drink. I am happy to enjoy that change as well.
I think it is a taste that is hard to find. I hope you will try it. It is said to have won a gold medal at the Delicious Sake in a Wineglass Awards, so please drink it with a glass of wine!

Muryozan is the highest series of Kido brand, so I was really excited about that 👏.
I chilled it well in the fridge and opened the bottle.
The aroma is not that assertive, but the ginjo aroma has a strong presence. It has a sophisticated impression.
The taste...on the first day, I was actually a bit surprised. I wondered why. I wonder why. Was it my poor storage conditions? But somehow, as the second and third days went by, it became sweeter and sweeter, and the flavor of the rice came out more and more. I don't know why. It's like we are getting to know each other day by day 🥹Anyway, the umami is amazing. It's not too much, but it disappears without leaving too much residue in your mouth. That's why I keep coming back for more.
It's horrible. Don't drink too much. I would like to try another bottle of this lineup. I want to make sure of the next bottle. It was the kind of sake that made me feel its power.

My drinking buddy gave it to me! I was told that it is perfect for seafood dishes, so I decided to make a seafood bowl tonight to politely welcome it 🐟.
The taste is very dry and never spoils the dish. It was a little dry, never distracting from the food, and the lingering taste was beautifully fading away. This is one that I somehow bought in a jackpot at a home coop.
It looks cool and is a summer ginjo, so I chilled it in the refrigerator. Well, it was a little heavy, or rather, it had a robustness that I did not expect from the bottle design. It is a bit dry, and it feels heavy on the tongue as well. I had an image of it being lighter and more refreshing, so I thought I would drink it with beef shabu-shabu, but that was not quite right. I think the heavier flavor would be better with light fish.
So the summer sake season is here! I probably love summer sake so much that I can't wait to buy some, but I'll wait until I have enough sake in stock 🥺.

I've always wanted to try it, Sakusaku.

Shinshu" means the first sake brewed with the new rice of the year ☺️It's almost the start of the rainy season, and I felt sorry for the delay in opening the bottle, but it seems that the Saku series is only for fire-brewed sake, so I guess it's safe to say 🥺.
But the aroma and flavor are so fresh that you wonder if it's really fire-aged! The slight effervescence also makes me burst with happiness.
Combined with the sophisticated packaging, I felt like I was enjoying a wonderful sake! I was immersed in the feeling of "I'm enjoying a wonderful sake!
Among the recent sakes I've had, this one seems to have a style similar to that of Kuzushinin Kuheiji...I wonder what it is. I still need to drink a lot more to make such a comparative review...I need to drink a lot...😇
