As soon as the black cover was removed, the lid flew up to the ceiling! It was well chilled so there was no spillage, but my wife was surprised and said, "That's a dangerous guy!"

Purchased in Yoshino, Nara at the end of May. Yoshino is famous for its cherry blossoms, but I like the fresh green of early summer. Yoshino Brewery is more often heard of for Hanaboe, but a liquor store near Zaodo had this brand. The color of the sake was quite yellowish, so I thought it might have a strong sake taste, but it was a refreshing and easy to drink sake.

Purchased on a trip to Shizuoka last year. I thought I'd like to drink it hot in winter, but the label said it was recommended to drink it cold! I was surprised. The brewery is very particular. I had it cold and lukewarm. It tasted like a ginjo-shu.
