We were given a free tour of the brewery at the brewery, which is about a 15 minute walk from Niigata Station.
There was a free tasting afterwards, but if I heard that I could pay 1000 yen and taste more than 10 different kinds of sake, I would go👍 as a sake drinker.
After tasting many different kinds of sake, I liked the wooden barrel brewed sake, so I bought it!
When I tasted it, I chose it because I thought it had a nice woody aroma, but maybe it was the difference in temperature, I didn't feel that much when I drank it cold, but it had a good balance of sourness and sweetness and a nice crisp aftertaste. ☺️

When I asked the liquor store if they had another brand as a food sake, they recommended this one, which can be enjoyed as much as a meal.

I liked Houken dry sake that I bought on a previous trip to Hiroshima, so on a business trip to Kure, I bought a bottle at a liquor store near Kure Station.
I bought a bottle of "White Label" at a liquor store near Kure Station.
White Label" is bottled when it has been stored at a low temperature for a while and the flavor is fully developed.
A perfect strike 👍!
It was the best balance that I can't complain about!
